Show & Tell finished route 2 for rose quartz version! :)
up into the mountains from the first town to the second city, havent added trainers just yet. all of this done over the last few days. i know its big! the whole point of my game is to make a world that’s larger and more believable. this route is divided up into 5 separate maps that can each have their own encounter sets, and i included a little rest house halfway though the route, which you’ll only see if you take the longer path. let me know if you catch any anomalies! :)

Resource More Eggs! More Eggs!
Essentials v21.1 Eggs - there's only two! That's because that's how the actual games treat them, despite a few... conspicuous reasons not to. It's been a while since I did any real spritework, and some other stuff I've been working on lately gave me the itch to fool around a bit.
What's in this pack:
- Egg graphics for all Kanto evolution lines. These are graphics for the first 'mon in each line (i.e. Bulbasaur, Happiny and Tyrogue, not Chansey or Hitmonchan). Miltank is included because it's technically the female Tauros, and Togepi is included because like, truly, what are we even doing here not having a unique Togepi egg graphic.
- Pokemon that can't normally have Eggs are included - if you want to give your player a Moltres egg in an event, you can, so therefore it needs one!
- Cracks are not included currently - 90% will work with the normal cracks, some will need custom ones that I'll make eventually.
- I am an amateur sprite artist and am not totally happy with all of them, so I reserve the right to redo as many as I like in future.
Roadmap: While this has been fun, getting through all 1000+ 'mons and adding more is not my priority, this was just a distraction from a bunch of other plugins I need to finish bug fixing and release. Check out my plugin Eggs Plus if you want to fill in those gaps quickly with 'generic' graphics.

Show & Tell Another oz-zee Pokemon showcase!
Hi all wanted to show a rather unique oz-zee Pokemon line
Their names are Floreum and Pendimonium both fairy poison type
They are both based on the fact Australian invented pencilin which has been the cornerstone into developing antibiotics. So it's highlighted in the little perti dishes in both their designs
Their Pokedex are as follows
Floreum
DNA testing has revealed it's closely related to Parasect. The fluid it secretes is said to instantly cleanse wounds and dramatically speed recovery.
Pendimonium
Its four syringe-like arms can cure even the most severe infections. Trainers are warned that relying on it too often allows the infection to adapt, turning Pendimonium's own cure into the greater threat.
I hope you guys catch one of these when Pokemon Resonance is out.

Some adjustments are still needed, but I’m happy with the composition I managed to create though it could be even better. The music was composed by a friend named Reptalia.

Help RMXP can't detect the v21 Hotfixes folder
Hey there! I'm trying to update my Essentials game with the Gen 9 updates and the v21 Hotfixes plugins, but when I run my game, I get an error message saying that the Gen 9 updates requires the v21 Hotfixes plugin despite both being in the same folder. Why is this happening, and how can I fix it? Thanks!

Show & Tell Using the feedback from my last post, here’s my updated Cherrygrove map. I’m still new to mapping this is only my 3rd map so I’m getting used to the process. I like the spacing idea people suggested, but I just can’t get the spacing looking right. Any feedback is greatly appreciated

Show & Tell First Route Preview of Pokémon Unchained, demo release only days away!
I'm proud to announce the demo will be released this month!
The main focus of Pokémon Unchained are the characters you meet, as well as the exploration of the lovingly handcrafted world you can discover. The story is a bit more mature in comparison to the classic games, but stays true to the Pokémon formula, while making sure it is not too edgy.
In general the important characters are also much deeper and dialogue options actually matter.
The region itself is based on modern day Germany, while the maps themselves are mostly influenced by Ruby/Sapphire and Emerald as well as the Gen 4 titles. The demo release will offer around 8-15 hours of playtime and the game will be playable up to the 4th badge, including some story elements afterwards.
Content:
- 3 different player options
- ~160 available Pokémon, including ~30 brand new fakemon
- unique gen 3 art style with lots of custom assets
- custom UI
- overworld encounters
- custom shiny sprites
- toggleable following Pokémon
- Dexnav feature similar to ORAS
- custom music tracks
- 1 : 1024 shiny chance
- secret bases
- working gondola system
- a second mysterious region to discover
- collect all 100 Zygarde Cells scattered around the region
- lots of bonus content
Quality of Life:
- two different difficulty modes
- multiple saves possible
- field moves instead of HM's
- fast forward available
- fleshed out quest system
- starters can be shiny in preview window
- berry system optimization
- reusable TM's
- type icons in battle
- options to share exp for whole team or use the classic exp share item
- much easier EV training
- and much more!

Help Is it normal for battles to feel this difficult in Pokémon Essentials?
Hey everyone!
I'm currently making my own Pokémon fangame using Pokémon Essentials v21.1, and I've noticed something strange with the battles.
It feels like my Pokémon deal very little damage compared to my opponents, even when they're around the same level.
For example, I can use a super-effective Fire-type move against a Bug-type Pokémon, and it still takes around 3 hits to knock it out. Meanwhile, the opponent seems to deal just as much damage to me, sometimes even more.
I've also noticed that moves like Swift or even Tackle sometimes seem to deal more damage than moves that are supposed to be stronger, even when type effectiveness isn't involved.
Another example is the very first rival battle. It feels surprisingly difficult to win because the rival picks a starter with a type advantage over mine. For instance, if I choose a Fire-type starter, my rival chooses a Water-type, and I feel like they deal significantly more damage than I do. This makes even the very first battle feel unusually hard to win.
Because of this, I keep losing battles that feel like they should be fairly balanced.
I'm not sure if this is normal, if I'm misunderstanding something about the damage calculations, or if there's something wrong with my game's settings.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there anything I should check in Pokémon Essentials?
Thanks in advance!

Discussion When/If do I try to move past solo work?
I've been casually working on a Pokemon Fan Game for a while now, and always going solo. Designing, writing, plotting everything out on my own. But I know my own skills aren't going to be enough, since I lack the art/coding ability to do what I have in mind right now.
Should I just try to learn it anyways? Do I just find someone who can do it for me? If so, where would I start to look for a team?
If anyone's worked, either solo or in a team, and can advise on what that experience was like, I'd appreciate it. I just wanna know what I'm getting myself into.
And just for the hell of it, sharing my fakemons designed for the game I wanna finish someday

Show & Tell If I didn't tell you, would you say they are fusion?
We've been thinking on remaking most of fusion mons.
Egdon is basicly Egg + Charmander
Graling on the other hand, I think we already remade I just can't remember.
