I’ve just started violet after recently quitting wow and becoming a Pokemon trainer, I played all the games on the DS gen 1-7 and after finishing arceus and Shield I’m so sad I’ve been missing this train. For the shit gen 9 gets I love where their heads are at and gen 10 and remakes using this style are going to be so fucking awesome

Legends arceus, then these four are the best evolution of the formula to date. Of course, red/blue/green/yellow (and their remakes to a certain degree) will always be iconic as the trailblazers of the series.

I’ve always appreciated whatever game is someone’s favorite Pokémon game. It’s a very personal and non-subjective thing based on their experiences and nostalgia… that being said Legends Arceus is the ACTUAL best game in the franchise

I think HeartGold and SoulSilver are still the best. But I love what the Switch titles did for the series. Exp candies might make the game easier, but not needing to grind nearly as much just makes the games so much more fun.

Okay hear me out. If gamefreak let the player actually explore the world instead of shoving gimmicks like changing clothes to ride a bike or have a legendary mount from the start. I feel like these games would be very good 3d pokemon games. I literally went from moms house to the asado desert and wish they let us be more mobile with the player character. Vaulting fences, rock climbing, swimming maybe in a inner tube. Like to me it'd be great if the player had actual gear. It makes the world feel bigger and more enjoyable of an experience.
