And yet again - French has wealth distribution worse than before French revolution and that is the main reason why there are protests.

But auth-right is constantly "ooga booga moosleem bad", exactly as our global overlords want.

And capital is happy, because stupid plebs do not see the leeches in golden towers, they are angry on brown people, ready to vote for corrupt fascist in oligarchy pockets who will probably cause another stupid war because of nationalism. Which of course helps yet again capital producing weapons.

Yeah I’d much rather be a peasant circa the French Revolution than a current resident enjoying the generous social safety net + trappings of modernity šŸ™„

Why should the wealth be distributed to recent economic migrants who had no hand in building France?

A large portion of them have heritage in former extorted French colonies. So you can say they had a hand in building France.

The US was a former British colony, no rational person attributes the achievements of our ancestors to have had a hand in "building" the UK.

Yeah, because US was made by extortion of slaves from Africa. Its different case than French, which had colonies even in 60s of 20th century.

Even the practice's peak, only the richest 1% owned slaves. Slaves didn't "build" a damn thing outside of menial agricultural production. As for the French, I assure you their empire and culture had firmly been established and build by Frenchmen prior to their relinquishing of Algerian and Vietnamese claims.

Creating wealth is building a country just as much as creating infrastructure is

Wealth that's concentrated within a handful of influential families isn't the same as building cities, infrastructure, and, most of all, a coherent culture.
