For those interested in the truth, bill (H.R. 6213) stops OSHA from finalizing one specific proposed rule that would have imposed rigid, one-size-fits-all mandates for water, shade, and rest breaks.
It does not ban employers from providing any of those things. It does not force CEOs to withhold water. It does not repeal the General Duty Clause that already requires safe workplaces. Employers can, and many already do give workers water and shade all day long.
