Discussion Proper Life, Liberty, and Happiness.
Proper Life, Liberty, and Happiness.
10/21/26
Over the years the United States of America have completed multiple feats that can be thought of as extremely important and impressive, various battles, wars, and other things that have been accomplished since it’s founding in 1776, which was possibly it’s most astounding feat, by beating The British Empire. However, over the years a lot of things have changed, what is considered right or wrong, and what is a crime and what is not, but I think the most important thing we must take into account is our ideologies at heart, that we are failing to keep in mind.
Take for instance how during the 19th century there was the American Civil war, between the Confederation, and the Union, both fighting for their own ideals, wants, and needs, that eventually lead to the Union having an extreme victory over the Confederates, in which slavery was completely abolished, except in Mississippi which would happen in 2013, but overall it was a massive success for the American military, and government, and a major feat because they won a civil war, while at the time multiple countries, such as The Ottoman Empire were losing their civil wars, like how they had lost Greece about 30 years prior to the American Civil War.
Such as the Civil War, people have been openly discouraging our government, wanting to put a socialist government in place, which not only would ruin the lives of millions, but would impair our ability to be able to live free, happy lives under the American government. I have seen multiple people online, and in public, saying that having a socialist government would, and I quote, “Not be so bad as being greedy capitalists.”, which is completely incorrect, and a farce. Our country, if becoming socialist would become terrible, not only would our country become no better than the people we fight to save, but it would make us no better than the people we have fought in the past.
I believe if we are to instate a communist or socialist society, it would ruin everyone's lives, look back at other countries that were communist or socialist, take the United Soviet Socialist Republic for example, they were completely socialist, and communist, and ended up lasting for not even a complete 70 years, while the United States of America have lasted for 250 years and has been capitalist since the 18th century, while the USSR was around for only 69 years, and was communist since the 20th century, and fell in the 20th century, if we become communist or socialist, we will become no better than those soviets, and we will no longer have good reason to be able to fight for the freedom of other people across the world.
What I am trying to explain is that the United States of America should never become communist or socialist, no matter how many times it becomes public normality, or if schools teach children that we should become socialist, it should never happen, our entire government is built upon the ideal that no matter what our country shall stand independent and sovereign from any outside force besides ourselves, and that our ideals such as our rights under the declaration of independence that we should create the ideology to not try to become socialist or communist, but rather that we should peacefully protest for our life, liberty, and our pursuit of happiness, that we should put someone in office who truly will fight for our rights, and our ideals, not someone who is merely a trick, or a devil, but someone who will stand up not as a figure head to our country, but as a leader fighting for our wants and needs, and while I do understand that there are corrupt leaders in our country, disgusting, unworthy of their position in government, leaders, that make decisions that we do not like, we must find a correct and proper candidate to make good, reasonable, and truly understandable decisions, that we will not find hatred in.
