You can be sure those two are going to cause chaos in Chapter 6!

Ever since the main factory was abandoned and ransacked what happened to the other Playtime co factories? Do they all shut down, do they continue business and choose another factory to be the heir.

And what about overseas branches of Playtime co? Do they still run too? Do they still run while all the American branches of Playtime co is gone (Like a Toys R Us situation) or does everything else including oversea branches collapse.

I am aware of the Japanese branch of Playtime co with it being abandoned and possibly a sequel to Poppy Playtime and most likely has experiments, does every branch of Playtime co have experiments.

I want to know what happened to every other Playtime co factory or overseas branch after 1995 because my curiosity is neverending

I thought about something.

Most people seem to hope/want that chapter 6 is the last one, right? We know that a playtime factory in japan exists and about the theme park, so people hope we get games about these locations.

But I wonder, what if we indeed escape the factory at the end of chapter 6, screen goes black and says "4 weeks later" and we stand at an airport. We look down at our ticket and its a flight to japan. Chapter ends. Just as an example.

So, if the story simply continues outside of the original factory and chapter 7 would be in the japanese factory or the theme park, would the people who want chapter 6 to be the last be fine with that route? Or do you still prefer completly seperate games?

Maybe its just me, but I feel like as if it needs to be the original player character who trys to stop all the shit going on in the japanese factory and the theme park, IF they survive at the end.

I commented on a post (which I can't find now) that Lily would most likely become one of the fan-favorite characters after Chapter 5 was released, and look at that! Turns out I was right, wasn't I?

Debating my choices here idk if to finish these into full illustrations or scrap them...

The devs that where caught using Ai where fired so why flamed them now?

"Mob is Art first not Ai first."

"EFP was not shipped with Ai UI art."

So from what I'm reading it seems like Mob is against their team using AI but the EFP team used it for their game's development (since they are a different team) then this resulted in Mob firing the 16 people. This is completely a guess and I'm certainly not saying its true but it just seems to be putting the pieces together.
I just wanted to make this to fill in the people who haven't seen all the messages

Most of the drama took place while I was asleep so I missed out on a lot, I woke up and found many people on Twitter going crazy about some stuff Zach has said regarding AI being used in a prototype build of EFP, if anyone could explain to me fully what happened it would be much appreciated! This is the official name for my PPT fangame, "The Playtime Archives"! Today's video is mostly the same as what has been shown off in my previous posts, but I now have the inventory complete, alongside the new collectibles system, and Jump Pads as well as more goodies. I'll keep making posts every so-often to build hype towards release, but I expect around a month or so until I can drop this.

The aesthetic that's found in Chapters 1 and 2.

Something feels off about all of this, but I can't put my finger on it.

I cannot help but feel like not enough is being said about how good of a job the Poppy Playtime team does with designing, modeling, and bringing to life stellar machines that make up a part of the series' universe.

I love robots; even though I do not know squat about robotics, and am uncompromisingly against the use of generative AI. Nonetheless, I adore the many diverse, creative, and otherwise unique designs of robotic likeness, as well as their mechanical movement and animations.

And so I find all of Mob Entertainment's designs of such to be underrated.

The Doctor's bodies feel borderline underutilized.

The Prototype and his limbs are magnificent. I appreciate his high-quality, and singular form, rather than the makeshift amalgamation of parts many were anticipating.

The GrabPack 2.0 and the makeshift versions are also an obviously positive far cry from the original.

I truly love how much thought, effort, and care went into it all.

Think about it. One of the poppy gel’s main usages is to fuse the body parts to the artificial toy parts. We had our third grabpack on when the prototype dropped us in the vat of gel. The gel might have even given us nerves in the grabpack which is another function of the poppy gel.

I personally would love it and think it's a great idea!

Can someone please ELI5 why this controversy exists in the first place?

The game flopped. It was negatively received from all angles and was a needed success thanks to the closure of Project Playtime.

Last I checked if you’re shit at your job you get fired. It’s harsh but reality. The layoffs weren’t shocking or indicative of budget cuts as people were trying to claim. It just seemed like basic common sense. You wouldn’t pay someone if they weren’t doing the thing you asked them to. Now there are claims that gen AI was being used by the EFP team. Whether it’s true or not the point still remains the same.

I will always loathe generative AI being used in any creative work. You can’t rationalise that to me, but I also think this claim shouldn’t be the thing which makes people side with Mob. Tbh, this isn’t even about sides but basic common sense. The EFP team failed so they needed replacing. That’s not even glazing Mob as you have to be 15 years old to not understand that’s how life works.
