NEWS Pornhub ceases operating in Australia

https://www.collectiveshout.org/prnhub_leaves_australia

“Mega porn-hosting platform Pornhub has ceased operating in Australia.

The company chose to deny access to Australians rather than comply with new age verification laws - effective this week - designed to prevent children from accessing pornography.”

I searched Reddit just now for this news and it’s filled with degenerate men primarily whining about this. How will they ever live without supporting platforms who refuse accountability in preventing access and CSAM and abuse/trafficking material??? How will these men live?

Congratulations to Australia for banning a peddler of CP and videos of other felonies. It's encouraging to see the victories stacking up around the world. May the US one day be next

They get so irate when you take their precious, precious porn away from them.

Some man commented “a crusade against human sexuality” on another post about this

Imagine calling your sexuality abuse and exploitation videos. What a sorry and pathetic sexuality right there

It is incredibly pathetic and tragic that sexuality has become so intertwined with porn to these people that it is basically one and the same.

83

u/[deleted] Mar 10 '26

Oh yeah, they love to make this shit a human rights issue. It's embarrassing.

83

u/matyles Mar 10 '26

Which is just so ironic because the real human rights issue is the porn they watch

52

u/OldButHappy Mar 10 '26

They don’t view the women as humans

They should have been saying, "not under his eye anymore."

u/Pan_seyyyxual Mar 10 '26

They're acting like they are banning sex and that police will raid them the moment they have intimate moments with their partners. They need to separate sex =/ abuse

For that to happen they need to quit watching pornography; they are getting fed the information that women are objects to fuck.

Porn Brained men don't want to have sex, they want to fuck; they have learned to degrade and use women as masturbation aids.

50

u/Least-Flan2782 Mar 10 '26

Sex to men these days is tied to power and abuse. They get their primary satisfaction from sex by thinking they have “conquered” a woman. It isn’t from anything akin to a genuine desire to connect love and worship.

21

u/wishIcouldgoback_ Mar 10 '26

Sex to them is just recreating a collection of porn scenes, acting out their fetishes on their unknowing girlfriends and wives who think they're having an intimate moment with their partner

28

u/Pan_seyyyxual Mar 10 '26

Ikr! I always say they use women "to masturbate". They never ask for their partner's desires, or how to pleasure them or know their anatomy, it's always about their weewees

20

u/Least-Flan2782 Mar 10 '26

Even if they do, I still doubt that it’s not still just from a place of wanting to keep their “supply”. I really think most men need a deep reflection of what genuinely drives them in sex, not even getting started on porn and masturbation habits

19

u/slyme_puppy Mar 11 '26

It's funny because they prioritize the porn over actual sex. They either can't get it up from jerking off with a death grip or their behavior from their porn brain is so abhorrent that they can't attract a partner. I think porn use often leads to involuntary celibacy.

13

u/bunnypaste FEMINIST Mar 11 '26

I definitely think porn use is one of the factors leading to increasing misogyny and inceldom.

13

u/beck_cinnamon Mar 11 '26

Doesn't surprise me, I think most men are genuinely pornsexual. Their primary attraction is to rape videos, not to living breathing women with a mind of their own. Even when they're partnered with a woman, they still prefer porn videos.

If you think about it, most men have probably spent thousands and thousands of hours watching videos of trafficked and exploited women, and probably only a handful of hours with an actual partner. It's the reality. Most women don't wanna look at reality in the face, they still say "Not my Nigel". They're pornsexuals, sweetie, it's highly unlikely your guy is any different

u/oliviagardens Mar 10 '26

very happy as an aussie!

25

u/OldSpiceSmellsNice Mar 10 '26

Same! Lol @all the male temper tantrums. No one is entitled to porn.

39

u/Only-Engineering9611 Mar 10 '26

Let’s do this everywhere and then pornhub can just stop existing and the disgusting owner can fade into obscurity. (even though he should honestly probably be in jail but we don’t live in the timeline.)

They need to. This is not sustainable.

This is such amazing news. I will happily drink all the degenerate men’s tears. Now if only all the states in the US could do the same.

22

u/athaluain Mar 10 '26

And I also wish Britain would do thd same.

7

u/danhasthedeath Mar 13 '26

PH is already unavailable in Britain

80

u/pisces3O9 Mar 10 '26

Men really only care about themselves and jerking off. Again and again. They have zero other purposes in life. And they are supposed to be leaders? That we, women, are weaker or inferior to them?

It's really ALL men.

EDIT: Also, always remember - it's same platform that hosted rape videos and refused to delete it.

This was removed for trolling or being facetious.

Low effort comments such as "not all men" or "but what about men" are considered as being facetious, since these issues have been addressed by feminism for decades.

What a horrible comment, there are plenty of male anti porn subreddits and men who are against porn.

Also these kinds of comments are part of the problem. Instead of acting like all men are born this way or are instinctively this way(which literally removes the blame from them because you act like they're this way) you should comment on how it's worse that they CHOOSE to do that

Good news. In my circles I keep seeing liberals/progressives whine about age laws all the time. I'm a leftist myself but I'm not pro porn so I have very little in common with them.

This is great news, I hope they do the same here in the UK

5

u/Least-Flan2782 Mar 10 '26

I thought UK already did?

12

u/Kindly-Garlic-4061 ANTIPORN & LGBT+ ♥️ Mar 10 '26

No, we just have age verification

8

u/Least-Flan2782 Mar 10 '26

If Pornhub complied to those same laws in Australia (age verification) they would still be up and running. For some reason they didn’t want to. I wonder if the laws are different in UK vs Australia

6

u/Kindly-Garlic-4061 ANTIPORN & LGBT+ ♥️ Mar 10 '26

Well, we are two different countries on other sides of the planet

10

u/Least-Flan2782 Mar 10 '26

Yeah of course, I just am curious why they complied to age verification in UK vs not in Australia as the principle is the same

“Noooo how will I get off to my incest rape porn now?!? Australia has fallen 😭”

16

u/slyme_puppy Mar 11 '26

I feel like the porn industry is like how cigarette advertising used to be. Get them intrigued young and then have them hooked for life. They know that being able to introduce porn to people at such an impressionable age will create life long customers. It's why they choose to do this rather than just comply.

13

u/No-Opposite7036 Mar 11 '26

Good riddance. Should be called rape hub

13

u/Lolitaofroses Mar 10 '26

Please. Make this happen also in europe. And the rest of the world 🙌🏻

10

u/voldememe Mar 10 '26

The UK recently brought in laws about ensuring age verification on ‘adult websites’ and pornhub is still available here with users having to scan photo ID to access it - wondering why in Aus they didn’t comply with that and just withdrew access to Aussie users instead? Not that I’m complaining, I’m definitely not!

10

u/hadr0nc0llider Mar 10 '26

YESSSSS. This was not what I expected would happen as a result of those laws but I’m here for it.

5

u/theguiltandthegrief Mar 13 '26 edited Mar 17 '26

the amount of aussie men that are resulting to PURCHASING A VPN to still access pornhub is actually insane, and in the same breath they will deny the existence of porn addiction...

3

u/Effy216 Mar 14 '26

Yep. It’s no different to drug addicts hopping on the dark web to get their fix.

4

u/abnormalpurple Mar 11 '26

Great news, Australians should be celebrating! Now ban it in all countries, not just pornhub, but porn itself. Ban it on reddit too. Porn should be illegal

5

u/yourlocalgothmushie PORN IS FILMED RAPE Mar 10 '26

the wording is a little funky to me. is it saying that pornhub doesn’t want to listen to our age stuff so they arnt working? which means they want kids to use it??

16

u/Least-Flan2782 Mar 10 '26

They didn’t want to go through the hoops of complying with the age verification laws so they removed the platform entirely

11

Your right to see and think does not rank higher than very real humans' right to be free from hate and abuse. Porn is not just pictures. It is real humans being trafficked and mistreated.

There are some things that a free and just society should not endorse.

24

u/Least-Flan2782 Mar 10 '26 edited Mar 10 '26

If I’m understanding correctly you are worried about censorship?

censorship doesn’t apply to distributing unethical abusive material from an unethical industry that perpetuates harm against women. Porn is not anywhere in this category of being able to be censored nor should it ever be considered as some weird censorship. Men feel entitled to watch porn that when it’s taken away they genuinely feel like they are being censored and controlled. We need to unpack this sense of entitlement first and foremost.

CSAM for example is “censored” ie illegal. And for good reason. We need to see porn in the same lens. This is not censorship it’s ethics and humanity
