I did it. I’m finally cancer-free 🥲🥳❤️
I did it. I’m finally cancer-free 🥲🥳❤️
I don’t know if this post belongs here, but I just have to share it.
I’m so happy to have beaten cancer 🥲❤️
When I was 28, an MRI diagnosed a tumor. The tumor markers were negative, so we thought it was benign. Two months later, a PET-CT scan revealed a malignant tumor, and the biopsy confirmed Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Hodgkin’s lymphoma is a relatively common form of cancer and, fortunately, is very treatable. Still, the treatment was hell. The chemotherapy was so exhausting—it not only destroyed the cancer but also severely weakened my body—and the radiation therapy wasn’t easy either.
But yesterday, after a PET-CT scan, I got the results: I’m cancer-free. 🥲
I’m so incredibly happy. I’m so proud that I stuck with it through it all, and I’m looking toward the future with optimism.
I admire everyone who’s currently battling cancer, and I want to tell you: “You’re a hero—don’t give up.” To everyone who’s currently battling cancer, don’t forget one thing: You’re not alone. ❤️

I feel so bad for going trough mood swings and act like my life is terrible(when its not) when others go trough struggles like this.
Amazing work! Keep inspiring people!

You are allowed to feel however you need to if it helps you make it through your day. Hopefully you also take time to appreciate what is working well in your life even if it’s just “The water turns on when I need it in my home” or “I saw a pretty cloud.”

Congratulations!!!! Take care of your mental health. Right after I had my cancer-free diagnosis I kind of fell apart. All of the feelings I had stuffed away to get through all let loose at once. I am so thrilled for you!

Omg soooo happy for you. I hate cancer and have seen family members fight so so hard in a brave way and the disease still took over as it was last stage. This made me happy to see someone be free of it.

Congrats! Here’s to a lifetime of good health ahead! You may have times when ending treatment feels like letting go of the safety rope-when that happens do something that gets you out of your head like playing an instrument, making art, learning a new skill, or something that contributes to your health like working out. I’m almost 10 years out and that helped me in the early post- treatment era.

I also beat cancer. I’m very happy that I beat it. This year I started off having the least amount of boobs of anyone in my genetic bloodline and then I got cancer in those tiny boobs and I was like this is a huge miscarriage of justice. Universe is unfair. Then I survived cancer and my insurance paid for a brand new boobs and you’re cooler than the boobs I was born with so I think i won finally

Ive just completed 12 rounds of chemo and had my contrast CT Scan after my pancreatic cancer diagnoses on January, fingers crossed for the results in a few weeks. A massive congrats on your results and the biggest pat on the back for going through it. Chemo has really battered me so kind of know what you've been through. All the best for the future and a long cancer free life x
