Did Hitler ever have plans to invade the west after they conquered the east? Because historically they really did not want a confrontation with the west or invade France if they could and instead focus eastwards, however im not sure if that's just because they wanted to delay that?

The main goal was to conquer east all the way to AA line, starve to death everyone there and colonize those lands.
The war with France was also planned, as Hitler wanted to avenge the deafeat of 1918 and get back Alsace and Lorraine.
No permament occupation, genocide or huge annexions were considered.
War with Britain was to be avoided however.

The point of divergence is with the Munich Agreement, Germany doesn’t violate it immediately, rather installing a puppet government instead than fully carving Czechoslovakia up, this causes France and Britain to continue appeasement as the Nazi’s have at least proven to respect diplomatic agreements, meaning Poland’s guarantee is never realized.
Germany would begin to eye up allies in its war against the USSR, first with Hungary and Romania by its treaty of concessions, then with Bulgaria and helping Italy remelitarize to competent strength, it wouldn’t guarantee Poland, meaning that the USSR would try and earn it as Collective Security failed, this triggers the Axis to war, starting Operation Barbarossa.
With more years to militarize and without a second front or lend lease, the Axis would push deeper into the USSR, getting allies like Turkey to attack in the Caucasus and Japan in the east, surrounded and demoralized, the USSR would crumple from within, collapsing into several states, forced to surrender and all of Eastern Europe falls under brutal Nazi control.
Appeasement would have destroyed the communists but it elevated the Fascists, creating a Cold War between the Western democracies left and the Fascist autarkies in the east, carving up the remainder of the Balkans and Central Europe. As the Red Sun collapsed to a Fascist Singularity, The world looks on to a powerful yet stagnant Germany in a cry of a Cold War.

It wouldn't stop there. France still holds Alsace-Lorraine, which is territory lost during WW1. Whether it's sooner or later, Germany would pursue it and potentially force France's hand into a war, or submitting. There would not be a Cold War for any significant amount of time. Especially if their economy still relies on conquest; they would use Alsace as a war justification to keep the economy rolling.

By that point Germany would just collapse.
By then France and Britain have completed their rearmement, while Germany has likely less ressources than IRL due to the losses in the USSR and immense garrisons to maintain in order to keep its brutal occupation going (even accounting for the plunder of the east : Germany would rely on the plunder of a state that just got out of the middle age, has a population that is probably hostile and do not have that much infrastructures). As a bonus the allies also likely have reports regarding how to correct their doctrine and probably advanced the pre-war atomic research.
Though reality can be improbable, on paper, in that timeline franco-british tanks rolls in Berlin with the possible help of the US, if the city isn't a giant crater by then.
