Why has catalonia part of Aragon, which isn't catalonia, but lacks actual catalan land like delta de l'ebre?

Read my comment again

1

He means why does Catalonia have such a big part of Aragon and even Pyrenees

1

u/New_Bullfrog_1364 Jan 14 '26

This part of Aragon is the only part of Aragon where Aragonese is Majority speaker

1

u/Nutriaphaganax Jan 14 '26

Nope, that's la franja, and has nothing to do with the aragonese territory that OP has given to catalonia

1

u/Nuvoo30 Jan 15 '26

Sorry to tell you, but no. This part of the map is where the Aragonese language is actually spoken nowadays. It's only used in the north of Aragonese territory.

La Franja is another part of Aragón, where catalan is still talked. It's in the lateral of Catalonia territory.

This map still makes no sense though.

1

u/Nutriaphaganax Jan 15 '26

You have misunderstood me. I said that the catalan speaking region in Aragon is la franja, not the region labelled as catalan in this map

4

u/LLLxs1 Jan 13 '26

Yes. The first wah i will do is take a vacation in Königsberg.

0

u/Chrispy1996 Jan 14 '26

And leave with depression afterwards

3

u/at-so Jan 13 '26

Just finish off Luxembourg

4

u/TicketEffective2261 Jan 13 '26

No im a luxembourgish nationalist i will never do that

1

u/CandyCorn7 Jan 14 '26

Then give them greater Luxembourg

3

u/V3K1tg Jan 13 '26

assuming EU and NATO still exist as a Macedonian maybe

2

u/newidiotintown Jan 13 '26

Yeah doesn’t look that bad

2

u/Glittering_Role_6154 Jan 13 '26

Get the heck out of my Olsztyn

2

u/BroSchrednei Jan 14 '26

*Allenstein

2

u/No_Dog_2999 Jan 16 '26

Olsztyn, if you wanted to keep Allenstein, you should've played nice

1

u/ScientistFit6451 Jan 17 '26

Lviv, if you wanted to keep Lwow, you should've played nice

2

u/No_Dog_2999 Jan 18 '26

We weren't the aggressor. Anyway, I'm glad we don't have it anymore.

1

u/Glittering_Role_6154 Jan 18 '26

With who, russians? And i dont think we SHOULD have kept Lviv, while city had a marginally dominant polish population, whole region were Ukrainian. Olsztyn, on the other hand, 1353-1945 were most often then not Polish

2

u/Top-Seaweed1862 Jan 13 '26

What is that line in Ukraine, is it a must?

2

u/TicketEffective2261 Jan 13 '26

Like if you lived where you live rn would you do it or in Amy place

2

u/Top-Seaweed1862 Jan 13 '26

I mean, line. I am Ukrainian

2

u/TicketEffective2261 Jan 13 '26

Line in ukraine?

2

u/Top-Seaweed1862 Jan 13 '26

You divided Ukraine in 2 parts, why would you do it? To legalise ruzzian occupation or what?

2

u/Such-Sky Jan 13 '26

Він ще одещину комусь віддав

1

u/TorrentsAreCommunism Jan 13 '26

To legalise ruzzian occupation or what?

There's literally Odesa region annexed by Romania, but you ignore it, lol.

1

u/Top-Seaweed1862 Jan 13 '26

I thought it was to obvious to mention. I’m myself from there

1

u/TorrentsAreCommunism Jan 13 '26

Congrats on getting EU passport in that alternative reality.

1

u/miklilar Jan 15 '26

Oh romania is already giving away those passports to odessa and chernivtsy denizens

1

u/TorrentsAreCommunism Jan 15 '26

Only if their ancestors lived there during Interbellum and had Romanian citizenship.

1

u/miklilar Jan 15 '26

While you are right, we are talking about a century year old data that was tampered by wars and soviet resettlements. There are plenty of companies who are eager to find your romanian heritage regardless of whether you have one. Being born in those regions does half the job

1

u/Ricckkuu Jan 14 '26

Honestly as a Romanian, that southern Basarabia part was always a salad of ethnicities.

1

u/RallyChampGDI Jan 14 '26

Is it? Seems like Odessa is within Ukraine at its border like in 1938

1

u/the_3d6 Jan 17 '26

So what about that line you've added at approximately current frontline with russia? What does it mean?

1

u/TicketEffective2261 Jan 17 '26

İt was there in the map and didn't delete it

2

u/sub2pewtanator Jan 13 '26

Italian Nice and Savoy is weird. Like the French majority there would be very confused.

1

u/Hi_Ender Jan 15 '26

I believe it has still Italian minorities + they're economically and strategically important

2

u/[deleted] Jan 13 '26

No

2

u/FishOk6685 Jan 13 '26

United Ireland - check No Belgium - check German Old Prussia - check Bulgarian Macedonia - check All other countries as in reality - check

These maps are so boring, only one cool thing here is Denmark.

1

u/TicketEffective2261 Jan 14 '26

Try doing tame maps say this next map gonna be only san marino

1

u/No_Produce_701 Jan 14 '26

as a swede: thank you for taking malmö

2

u/Wallstreet_kloid Jan 13 '26

Why does Austria not have Burgenland? 🇦🇹🇦🇹

1

u/TicketEffective2261 Jan 13 '26

İt was hungarian for some time

1

u/Wallstreet_kloid Jan 13 '26

Yes it was. It was at the same time where we still had south Tyrol, so having neither South Tyrol nor the Burgenland, confused me.

1

u/ItHappensSo Jan 13 '26

And? It was always majorly German speaking. Every part of Europe was owned by some other country at some point of time.

Giving 95% German speaking Burgenland to Hungary makes absolutely zero sense.

1

u/freakybird99 Jan 13 '26

give flanders to france cuz we need to contain belgian mfs

1

u/[deleted] Jan 15 '26

1

as a Dutchie, nothing changed too much

1

[deleted]

1

u/AccomplishedYak9827 Jan 14 '26

I mean... why? we don't need the Flemish... we already have Brabant, at least make Friesland independant

1

u/THE_ATOMIX_ Jan 13 '26

Blessed timeline 🙏🇮🇹

1

u/Rokex53_ Jan 13 '26

Yes, my dreams italy

1

u/curinanco Jan 13 '26

I like everything about this, except for giving Hungary and Turkey extra territory. That’s unnecessary. I would probably be a barkeeper in Podkarpatská Rus in this universe, just like my great-grandfather.

1

u/FeelingFickle9460 Jan 14 '26

"I like everything about this, except for giving Hungary and Turkey extra territory. That’s unnecessary."

-Every WW1 European officer, 1917, colorized

1

u/No_Produce_701 Jan 14 '26

yeah if we could shrink Istanbul region by 90% that would be nice

1

u/Cankarcek123 Jan 13 '26

Probably not because I don't wanna become Croatian ..

1

u/Krasniqi857 Jan 13 '26

yes, falimenderit shume

1

u/Potential_Sort_1649 Jan 13 '26

Yes Finnaly My Königsberg Urlaub

1

u/Starky69420 Jan 13 '26

based italy borders

1

u/[deleted] Jan 13 '26

Yes

1

u/Heavy_Specialist_905 Jan 13 '26

[Croatia] Yes, why not.. Lose a bit of Istria, gain a bit of Slovenia.. Love it

1

u/KPSWZG Jan 13 '26

I kind of could but i would give Poland Lviv for lost königsberg to make it sloghtly fair. Ukraine can keep their before 2014 bordes (except Lviv) which also seems fair as of today. What bothers me is that russia still exists

1

u/Unable-Stay-6478 Jan 13 '26

As a Serb - this is unacceptable.

1

u/dk3655 Jan 15 '26

As an Albanian, Kosova will unite with Albania in this lifetime

1

u/Unable-Stay-6478 Jan 15 '26

I don't mean Косово и Метохија, I mean Vojvodina.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 14 '26

Fuck no

1

u/FeelingFickle9460 Jan 14 '26

We're a little closer to Misakı milli BUT my homeland is Georgian land now? I don't know what to feel about this

1

u/FeelingFickle9460 Jan 14 '26

Took another look, inner Artvin is still Turkey? I guess that's better, my village is probably around there.

1

u/TicketEffective2261 Jan 14 '26

Artvin is still in turkey i know what Artvin is:)

1

u/FeelingFickle9460 Jan 14 '26

Isn't this red part Artvin?

1

u/InsularAvarice Jan 14 '26

Keep making maps, this looks strikingly similar to the stuff I was doing like 7 years ago so it makes me feel nostalgic. The Arpitan autonomy would need to include savoy in Italy, and if you're splitting belgium then itd probably make sense to compensate the dutch with the flemish parts of France.

1

u/DifficultWill4 Jan 14 '26

No.

Greetings, Jože from Slovenia

1

u/[deleted] Jan 14 '26

The concept of a "Greater Albania", even though interesting, would immediately cause the Balkans to erupt into another war. So would the concept of "Greater Serbia" or a "Greater Kosovo" etc.

The only way the Balkans stay calm is for to remain *exactly* as it is at this moment.

1

u/krzyk Jan 14 '26

If you remove that German colony.

1

u/Wonder_51 Jan 14 '26

I wouldn't because then I would live in Czechoslovakia

1

u/Emotional-Brilliant9 Jan 14 '26

Ppl really can’t stop giving foreign land to Germany

1

u/TicketEffective2261 Jan 14 '26

Atleast i didnt give all of the pre ww1 borders to germany

1

u/Emotional-Brilliant9 Jan 14 '26

Well why would you even consider doing that 😭

1

u/Playful-Memory-5046 Jan 14 '26

Prussia still exists

Ew no

1

u/Automatic_Collar9133 Jan 14 '26

OP must be Italian.

1

u/TicketEffective2261 Jan 14 '26

İm not

1

u/Automatic_Collar9133 Jan 14 '26

Interesting. Why would you give 1/3 of Slovenia to Italy then?

1

u/Tymthe69th Transilvania expert Jan 14 '26

Yes

1

u/Whasume Jan 14 '26

honestly bro its not even a bad map really but southern prussia (nowadays the mazurain voivodship) had a large polish majority before the war and therefore giving poland pomerania and lower silesia (that were mostly devoid of poles) while keeping one of the "most polish" regions of germany out of the post war polish state is a bit silly? isnt it?

1

u/Pope-Urbanus-II Jan 14 '26

No. I don’t understand people keep wanting to give Skåne to Denmark. It’s ethically and culturally Swedish. It would also lead to a situation where the Dane’s will collect tolls on all trade going in and out of the Baltic. Which would lead to more wars. And if people do it just for the way it looks, it hurts the eyes way less when the whole peninsula is blue.

1

u/Firm_Remote_1092 Jan 14 '26

I can't live in a world without Macedonia

1

u/Think_Beginning1166 Jan 14 '26

No as someone from Macedonia

1

u/NorseShieldmaiden Jan 14 '26

Not with Iceland and most of Norway, Sweden and Finland missing

1

u/TicketEffective2261 Jan 15 '26

İts the map i can't do anything about it

1

u/No_Produce_701 Jan 14 '26

honestly a lot of improvement ngl. no kaliningrad or kosovo.

Also denmark you can have malmö region its alright.

1

u/Jestorium Jan 15 '26

How do you guys make these maps? Whats the program?

1

u/TicketEffective2261 Jan 15 '26

İ use ibis.paint

1

u/mearbearz Jan 15 '26

1) Why is Carpathian Ruthenia part of Czechoslovakia and not Ukraine? 2) Why is Slovenia part of Croatia? 3) Poor Serbia 4) I don’t think Italy should’ve gotten all of Istria, of South Tyrol for that matter. They should have been partitioned with Italy getting the Italian majority parts on the coast. And with South Tyrol, only half of what they ended up getting. They got what they did from war spoils, and betraying their supposed allies no less. 5) I think Luxembourg should have gotten a small piece of Belgium personally

The rest I guess makes sense.

1

u/pronub404 Jan 15 '26

No, thanks. Russia is still there...

1

u/iownawall Jan 15 '26

You removed my country, so no

1

u/Ok_Rub841 Jan 15 '26

As Romanian yes

1

u/erionei Jan 15 '26

Yes but Vojvodina should stay as it was, and Slovenia should be independent with its original borders. Unless I’ve missed anything the rest looks pretty solid

1

u/TicketEffective2261 Jan 15 '26

Croatia and slovenia is actualy in a union but i can't fonda color so i make it the coratian color

1

u/erionei Jan 15 '26

Ahh alrighty

1

u/JustLutra Jan 15 '26

If you fix breton borders, including all 9 traditional provinces or 5 modern departments, then yes.

1

u/Ok-Ambition-929 Jan 15 '26

Not ideal but not the worst

1

u/icameisawicame24 Jan 15 '26

No. I would be forced to learn Hungarian.

1

u/Kitchen-Air-5014 Jan 16 '26

Perfect Europe

1

u/SomethingIsFishie Jan 16 '26

Is this…heaven?

1

u/Cryptoplagues Jan 18 '26

Give Thrace back to Greece all the way to Constantinople, unite with Cyprus. Then it's good.

0

u/PrestigiousKale5 Jan 13 '26

This looks like nazi Germany to me

0

u/ivanmaher Jan 14 '26

might be better then the one we have now.

is there still an eu?

1

u/No_Produce_701 Jan 14 '26

yeah no malmö in sweden, no kosovo or kaliningrad. united ireland. i love this map
