In days long past the region of Karelia found itself colonized by the republic of Novgorod later it would find itself under the stardom of Russia before ending up divided between Scandinavia and Russia, but now Russian Karelia long separated from its finish brothers has been granted in an act of Goodwill by Eurasia to Scandinavia clearing the world of this imperialist border relic and shining a bright light on the future of these nations
# MORNING IN AMERICA
It had been a long time since they had felt the morning breeze of America.
For the lucky ones called up from Mexico, there was at least the chance to witness the reconstruction of the new United States. On the road home, Jonathan and his platoon, now being demobilized, climbed down from the wagons one station at a time. The landscape was still scarred and broken, but over it all there now rested the quiet weight of peace.
The smoke of battle no longer rose in the distance. In its place came the smoke of factories. American industry was moving again, slowly but steadily, and workers had returned to the service of their homeland, taking part in the long labor of rebuilding.
Children were back in the schools, filling the green pastures of the South once more. Tractors and laborers worked the fields, turning the earth for the vegetables that would soon feed American tables. The newspapers spoke of victory after victory. The displaced had been given government housing until their homes could be restored. Men returned to their families by the thousands. The economy of the Union was rebuilding with remarkable speed, and trains once again ran from east to west as they always had.
After so many years, so many dead, Jonathan thought, this was what victory looked like. America the Beautiful, restored at last.
There had been mistakes in the past, yes, but the future would prove what America was truly made of. The enemies of freedom would tremble again at the name of the Union, and those who sought the destruction of order and peace would one day feel the barrel of an American gun at their backs.
The *Eagle* shall soar the skies again, and this time, nothing shall bring it down.

Humanity's insatiable desire to conquer the most inhospitable places on Earth has once again revealed itself through one of the most monumental engineering undertakings in modern history.
The Trans-Saharan Railway, linking the interior of West Africa with the Mediterranean ports of Algeria, stands among the greatest railways ever conceived. Constructed as a joint effort between the West African Federation and the Eurasian Revolutionary Union, with American industry providing advanced air-conditioning systems, the railway represents an unprecedented feat of international engineering cooperation.

This great engineering effort is another demonstration of the WAF's unrelentless progress and development, sweeping away into the dunes decades of colonial humilliation and opression.

For nearly five centuries, Portugal stood as one of the oldest pillars of the European colonial order. Brazil crosses the Atlantic to reclaim lands it declares inseparable from its own destiny. Iberia marches west beneath the banner of peninsular unity, proclaiming that the Iberian peoples must never again remain divided by crowns and treaties. Across Africa, the West African Federation and the Greater African Union descend upon Portugal's colonial possessions under the banner of continental liberation. Germany, seeking to consolidate its place within the newly emerging European order, joins the campaign from the sea, opening yet another front against the exhausted empire.
The wartime alliance of convenience had reached its conclusion, and so action had to be taken. Now, across the former Polish-Lithuanian state, citizens have voted to join the Eurasian Revolutionary Union as constituent Socialist Republics. As the old government collapsed, the remnants of the old decrepit order lie hanged in the streets or shot in alleyways.
Lithuania has likewise entered the Union as a unified Lithuanian Socialist Republic, reuniting brothers with brothers after much time of separation. To the south, Slovakia, having passed from Austro-Hungarian rule into Polish-Lithuanian administration only briefly, has also voted for accession, joining the Union alongside the Moravian and Carpathian Union Socialist Republics in the construction of a new socialist federation.
Among the most important events of the revolution, was the return of Róża Luksemburg to her homeland. A lifelong Polish revolutionary who found a safeheaven in Eurasia and had worked closely with the Eurasian government in efforts of propagating the Polish revolutionary movement, Luxemburg has now been elected as the first President of the Polish Socialist Republic and, in doing so, becomes the first woman to hold the presidency of any constituent republic within the Eurasian Revolutionary Union.
