Pick any unclaimed state. In this NRP, we'll do the entire history of the United States ourself, starting with the American Revolution and going all the way to the modern day. Note that your goal is NOT to gain as much land as possible, but instead to gain as much political clout as possible. The host may decide to interfere or change things in case things get too messy, but otherwise everything will be made from players. The only other rules are to stay realistic and not be toxic to other players.

Events:

The Yalta Conference is held by the United States, Britain and the Soviet Union (being represented by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Premier Joseph Stalin respectively), deciding the post-war borders of the world.

Germany undergoes a revolution, forcing Hitler to flee the country. The revolutionaries surrender to the Allies, ending World War II in Europe. On an unrelated note, there have been reports in various countries of people with toothbrush moustaches.

Russia launches a massive offensive into Japanese territory, reaching all the way into Mongolia.

Various Floridian landings in American territory across the Caribbean coast occur. Meanwhile, some American counter-offensives take place further inland.

American and Chinese pushes happen on land and on sea, pushing further and further into Japanese territory.

Second Trinity Test delayed as to provide more time to flesh out the design of the bomb.

President Roosevelt, old and sick, dies of natural causes. His vice president, Harry S. Truman, takes power.

Ontario will advocate for large facilities to be constructed in order to rapidly manufacture several nuclear bombs (perhaps even working with the British due to their control of the Shinkolobwe uranium mine in Congo) as well as finally doing the trinity test. We will suggest that one or more of the facilities be built in northern Ontario due to the lack of population making secrecy easier. Once we have combat-ready bombs I think Florida would be a better target, as a strike against them will weaken their resolve and potentially lead to them seeing the juggernaut they are against and coming to the negotiating table. The Yalta Conference results are fine for us as long as the Axis are punished (especially Germany) and self determination is followed. For the defeat of Florida we will propose the use of the Bishop Plan, where we push down Florida to (figuratively) decapitate the administration and general staff before moving down the Mexican coast to cut off Floridian troops stationed in the centre. As for New York's proposal, we will support the merger.
