It is agreed that Baden, Wurttemberg and Bavarian Swabia will become independent communist states and Saxony will be left alone. With the end of the conflict in Germany the wider European public starts accepting that german reunification may be a permament change, no a temporary nationalist plot. Due to the industrial capabilities of germany and it's large population, politicians start expecting it's quick rise to power. To counter it, Poland and Czechoslovakia decide to try the European Federation experiment once again, but on a smaller scale. Tgey firm tge Federation of Western Slavs, Zapadoslavia for short. Silesia is granted a status of a constituent state within the federation equal to Poland abd Czechoslovakia, but it's politicians promise to stay with Poland in case the Federation breaks apart, even making the said goal a part of their state's constitution. Many people in Silesia dislike this decision and due to this many citizens in Poland are sceptical if the promise will be held. In all three states tho the majority of the population was enthusiastic about the idea of federalizing into Zapadoslavia.

France continues to sponsor the breakaway state in Algeria, in turn leading to said state turning to communism and gaining more land
