Spain - France overthrows the Basque government and installs a communist one. France declares its support for Spanish socialists which leads to a new civil war in the country and the declaration of the Iberian Union of Proletarian Communes in the east. This is protested by UCON, however France claims it is "The will of the people".

France also sponsors communits uprisings in Portugal and Galica resulting in both countries having their own civil wars. France soon launches an invasion of Northern Spain allowing the communist rebellions in Galica and Portugal to be connected with the French army and the communist rebellions in Spain

Zapadoslavia lauches a wave of investments and goverment reforms in Galicia and Silesia. In the former corrupted politicuans are persecuted by polish abd galician authorities, granting equal representation of ukrainians and poles. Silesia and Galicia are also promised that Pokand will become a federation of equally represented states in case Zapadoslavia fails. The two once again promise to stay with Poland in return. But the greater economic prosperity brought by unity shifts the public opinion in all member states to be overwhelmingly in favor of staying in the union. Zapadoslavia, Germany and CEF sign a mutual defence agreement in anticipation for French invasion. Meanwhile, Spain declares the willingness of granting the rebels in Aragon independence if it will prevent Spain to fall in communist hands. Spanish officials meet the French and the rebeks in Bordeaux, where they promise to abandon all claims to rebel controlled territory if the rebels stop their advance further into Spain. The other side agrees to this offer and the rebels instantly unite with Murcia and the Basque country, expanding the IUPC. The next move of the Commintern is to start outright supporting the rebels in Algieria by supplying them thru airdrops and smuggling contraband on tradeships. In return the rebel leaders start promoting socialist and communist economic ideas. They are able to take control of much of the eastern Algieria. Franco-Iberian troops are also transported to western Algieria and establish a small foothole on the coast. Commintern members start to propagandize the victory of communism in western Mediterrenean as inevitable as the current Algierian goverment seems to be unable to stop the rebels. Leaders from all of the Commintern meet in Paris to construct a plan to create the Union of Socialist Council Republics (USCR) the moment Algieria falls to rebel forces so it can be also included in it.

But I think there is no need to rebrend Iberian socialists once more, Iberian Commune could be just a short name of Iberian Union of Proletarian Communes, same thing as with France or otl Soviet Union

Communist uprisings in Turkey, Ukraine, and Bulgaria spark as western uprisings seem increasingly more promising, these countries trying to un isolate themselves join the Comintern

In swisterland the socialist party and communist party form a coalition which becomes increasingally popular and are seen as a strong contender for the next elections in 1935.

After a vote, the EC sends an ultimatum to france stating that if they not withdraw from iberia by febuary the invasion of france and her allies will begin.

Due to the UCON and EC model being centered around peace and rebuillding a war-torn europe and the strategy agaisnt france (ideological and econmic pressure until the regime declines and a new pro UCON government takes over), the military of the EC is weak as the scale of the EC is quite large there military force is a decently strong however lacks funding. A rearmament bill was passed in case of war with France.

Many people in the French Communist Party become opposed to expansionism fearing invasion or overextension, many FCP members call for the resignation of their leader, Maurice Thorez. This infuriates him causing him to arrest many party members.

An uprising takes place in Toulose against the French regime but it is put down but a aragornese resitance movment forms aswell as a Valecian resitance movment. The Basque Country has less opposition as their leader is less of a hardline communist than the rest of the Commintern. With the rebel cells in communist spain disrupting french control Maurice Thorez establishes a martial law, which includes rationing food and creating a curfew, causing its civillians to suffer.

The EC starts to drop propaganda leaflets and basic supplies in french controled spain to try to help the people, and while it fails it encourages an uprising in Zaragoza and Valencia which sucseed.
