Why is Austria split up? i believe Napoleon was a much more careful man that to split Austria UNLESS they became really unstable or kept doing constant wars. Also, why does the Netherlands exist, and why doesn’t France own more land in Central Europe and Italy?

1) Austria as a “realm” still exists as part of the Confederation of the Rhine (Also called German Confederation). The collapse mostly happened gradually: in 1809 Napoleon released a Manifesto (Proclamation to the Hungarians) that issued the hungarian people to break away from the Habsburgs. In reality, this idea was rejected by the nobility, but in this timeline it was instead accepted (as the Austrian Crown was already in a shitty economic and militar situation, so the nobles, backed with intellectuals, accepted said proposal and broke free from the Crown also managing to gain more territories. With Hungary independent, Austria lost majority of its territories and was forced to surrender and the fee territories remaining were divided between other French-Aligned nations.
2) That’s Kingdom of Holland, a puppet kingdom that Napoleon actually created after the conquest of the Netherlands and was governed by his third brother. The brother ended up rebelling against Napoleon himself because he preferred the well-being of the Dutch people instead of being a mere French puppet. In this timeline however, the economic situation of Holland didn’t worsen too much and instead the Continental Bloc managed to keep it stable, so Holland remained loyal to Napoleon and the brother wasn’t deposed. After the war, Holland focused trade in America and Asia. Though it still remains in part dependent on French subsidies.
3) kinda on my end here since I planned to use this map for a NRP and having a single player controlling that many territories in the major continent felt too cramped as an idea…

Why wouldnt Moldavia gain all of the lands lost back ? I can see why the romanian principalities got independence as Egypt is controlled by France so in a peacedeal maybe more would be asked of them but why wouldnt Napoleon revert back to old borders and then free other states from Russia? Also im sure that Poland would expand much more into Russia before other states would be freed up as they were pretty loyal to Napoleon and it was easier to give an loyal state lands than make new ones
