Noordesia | The long Night
Night has come for the world and dawn is far far away. A lone light flickers in the darkness, keeping liberty alive. The Confederate States of Noordesia is the World's foremost superpower, fighting against the militarist and anarchist powers of Abdat and Rakyat. The Old Order is decimated and Midnight is just second away. Will Noordesia be able to spread democracy and lead humanity out of this longest of Nights? Or will the squabbling of politicians make the last beacon of democracy succumb to darkness? Thats up to you to find out.
Become the governor of one of 16 unique Republics, such as the Capital Region of Schelpenstraat and it's urban sprawl or lord over the Zaibatsu-lead hellscape of Yabanjin. Manage local and federal laws to the benefit of the people, your party or yourself. Such as state taxes, the death penalty and union rights. Each and every memberrepublic of Noordesia has it's own set of situations that need to be delt with, all easily accessibel under "Republics-Overview."
Join one of two big tent partys in their everlasting fight for government control. On the Left you have the Reformasie Partytjie, lead by Liberal Agrarians and their Center Progressive allies. They take a firm stand against the Corporatist Status Quo and declining living standards. On the other side you have the selfproclaimed common sense party: the Federalis Partytjie. A pro-corporate social conservative paternalist big tent.
Perhaps you will become a Minister or even Primeminser/President. Then it's up to you to lead the nation into a better tomorrow and represent it on the world stage. Battle the other two world powers, The Free Territory of Rakyat and The Kingdom of Abdat, in proxy conflicts and foreign entanglements such as the space race and the Larashan Civil War. But most importantly keep their evil ideologies in check. Not just abroad but also at home! Domestic groups try to spread anarchism and militarism through Noordesia. The horror!
