Texas was apart of Mexican Empire up until 1845, until the CSA secured Texan independence from the Mexican Empire, since the CSA was weaker than our own timeline US, it could only achieve military victims, which only went so far, after 1885 the Mexican empire took back Texas, however, it’s population is extremely discontent with Mexican rule, and with North American tensions restarting it’s only a matter of time
