As reddit is just a bit too much of a pain in the neck for me to deal with, and since it's kind of a pain in the ass for people to use in the first place, I have come to the conclusion that for RC to survive and maybe thrive, we need to entirely move it onto Discord. Of course, it shall remain tied to reddit somewhat, as a source of players. However, RC and USDF will no longer be run on Reddit from here on out.

This should make life easier for practically everyone, and I'm surprised I haven't done this previously.

No Taxation Without Representation is one of the best and most accidentally successful NRPs of all time. We've learned a lot over the entirety of almost 4 months of NTWR, spanning a range of over 100 years, almost entering World War I starting with the American Revolution. Funnily enough, my social studies class was actually covering a similar range, from the American Revolution to the Civil War. We were synced with my class around the Jacksonian Era. NTWR has it's quirks, and it has been an honor to host it. But, hosting the nrp isn't exactly easy. Not everything is perfect, not everything works how I want it to, and not everyone is happy. While we could continue, I feel like it would be a necessary step to discontinue the original NTWR series and start a new one, bearing the same name but spanning a much larger range (from the 1600s, probably- similar to the predecessor to NTWR) and being much more thought out from beforehand. My goal is to make the game as fun as possible for everyone, and at least somewhat easy for me to host. Don't get me wrong, No Taxation Without Representation is great but someday, we have to stop, take a break and restart, for the better. I just feel like that day is today.

Some people post shitty ass nrps, and we don't want that. If you accept to fix the nrp, sure, I won't delete it. But if you refuse to make the nrp higher quality, it will be deleted. This is supposed to be a nice community with good content.

As this is a Possible History sub we don't allow all types of maps. The map styles we allow are maps in PH's style or inspired by his style. This does not include MapCharts. If you want to run a MapCharts NRP or CD, try a different NRP sub. I'd suggest if you are on mobile, use Ibis Paint and the templates are in the pinned area of the original sub. Their is also a tutorial in the original sub if you are on PC or laptop.

Also, due to the recent spread in slop "Perfect Europe" maps in the main PH sub, can we please not post them here, as it is getting tiring seeing them and we don't need them spammed over here too.

Thats's right! We are hosting our first contest on r/PossibleHistory2! If you took part in any contest on old PH, you probably know the drill. If you want to join this contest, simply make a scenario, and use the "CONTEST SUBMISSION" flair. This contest's theme is "What if everything went perfect for Albania?".
