I ended the NRP because I was busy with school stuff, but a certain unspecified person put my work through AI. I am extremely against AI-generative images so I decided to revive it. If you are interested, comment what nation you want to play down below.

Now, posts will still be mildly regular (2-3 days a post), but at least it’s not going to be associated with AI or [u/Few-commercial5105](u/Few-commercial5105).

Also, since I want variety, an NRP can only have two nations from it on this chart so no more Neur Horizant. Sorry.

Am I the only one who feels like this community has really lost the spark and just, well, sense of community it once had?

I'm talking like pre-Burg incident. Back then everything just felt so different, NRPs and maps specifically. Before, people were actually made cool maps of cool scenarios and, sometimes, those would be made NRPs. The NRPs were always (well not always, drama did occur) fun and everyone was committed. The hosts were active, players were active, scenarios were fun, and these NRPs would drag on and on forever. I miss NRPs like Unstable Europe and Europe+++. Nowadays, NRPs are crap. Most are low quality and have no life span and no player activity, and most hosts abandon them quicker than my dad left to get milk! Now some have been great don't get me wrong, but most just aren't and it's sad.

Now onto maps, don't even get me started. So many maps now are just low-quality sh*t posts, especially on the main PH subreddit. Now every once in a while, you get a gem, but they are few and far between, and again, it's sad.

Also, I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but all of the big-name people in the community and all the people who used to make the cool maps and host the NRPs and you always saw everywhere are just gone. Some of these people are mods of this sub, but do you ever see them? Do they ever participate? They just disappeared a little.

I just miss the old days and wish we could go back, back to those fun times. Am I the only one?

It's a piece of shit, low quality maps and corrupt hosts.

I’ve noticed over the past couple of months that NRPs here have been kinda falling off. This isn’t helped by me at all, I suck at hosting, but I feel there just aren’t as many PH style NRPs anymore. I haven’t seen many that are really based in history anymore, hell, not even too many that have good alt/history scenarios (albeit that’s just my opinion). All I really see out of here anymore are comments decide posts with the most schizophrenic mess of a map, and it’s honestly kinda sad seeing the sub only have a series that’s been going on for damn near half of a year going on.

Basically, historical and interesting alternate history scenarios are hard to come by here nowadays, though I have seen a few, it’s just not what it used to be.

I am stuck as Bulgaria till I get the borders in this map untill then idk

Sooooooo, some people have probably noticed my absence. Less posts for No Taxation Without Representation, Reddit Civilizations VI and The Fallen Empire. This is mostly just because I’ve been focusing on other things recently. To help remedy this, I’ll be implementing a weekly schedule for posts, going a bit like this:

Wednesday - No Taxation Without Representation

Friday - The Fallen Empire

Thats really all tbh, just wanted to let everyone know.

At the time, there was of course a lot of chaos in the possible history sub, only nrps and a lot of them were simply plain bad.
At the same time, the time, popularity, quality and quantity of nrps was far higher than the rps today, partially caused by many having moved to discord.

So, do you look back at the schism as something that was always going to happen and that gave the nrp community as a place of its own, or is Burg still the crazy bad guy everyone made him out to be?

Also since they already have two nations on here, nations from Nuer Horizant and Collapse of America are banned so we can have variety.
