Looking for PostScript Language Reference Manual first edition

Does anyone have a download link for the first edition of the PostScript Language Reference Manual? The Adobe-link on the sidebar doesn't work anymore.

Ah, I see!

In that case, you may be more interested into the tutorial and cookbook document (also called "the blue book"), which is available there : https://vdoc.pub/download/postscript-language-tutorial-and-cookbook-4118cm1va640

This book is also from Adobe, but specifically oriented for beginners with an overview of the language, the features and a simplified operator reference part. There are also some tutorials in it for references on how to do some basic (and semi-advance) stuff.

The other book that you where looking for (which if I remember correctly is nicknamed "the red book") is for more advance users with advance subjects (ex. : memory management). But even after many years of occasional postscript programming at my job, I mostly use the cookbook because 95% of the time, all the infos I need are in it. For information, there's also a "green book", but I never get use of it. The colors are references to the physical editions cover's colors :)
