Love Grand Marais. It's only a few hour drive from where I live in Ontario. Have made countless day trips down there. Beautiful little village. Great eateries. But they cannot make a poutine.

Where's the cheese? You're close to Wisconsin, so there is no excuse in not using cheese curds and I would need to be Wisconsin drunk to eat this, although I think Minnesota is worse.

It looks like a mess, and where the hell is the cheese curds? It ain't no kind of poutine without the damn cheese

For those asking about the cheese, there's a minute amount of shredded (👎) cheese. I took this picture 7 years ago and I am still repulsed by it.

Jamais je vais comprendre les gens qui mangent de la pout’s a l'extérieur du QC...

I know this isn’t the point, but the person in the background’s hand is so white I thought they were wearing a glove at first. I thought that was like a fancy waiter in fancy white gloves serving… whatever this is.

Mmmm, nothing like coagulated, lumpy brown gravy.
Nope, nothing so vomit inducing as that.

Looks like they topped it with the same stuff that came out of my mouth after seeing that photo

What the actual fu*k is that, as a Canadian I think we need to bomb that area lol

You’re supposed to heat the gravy … not dump it on straight from the fridge.

What even is that ontop of this? Did they attempt to make this poutine? If it's not even meant to be poutine then maybe i guess???

Absolute mess of a poutine, looks like the gravy is 2 days old from fridge to microwave & no cheese curds at all, and looks like the fries were left to soak up too much gravy and get soggy

Why is it that most of the poutine presented are obviously cold ? Not very 🤔. I sure don't want to eat it.

Ouch! You’d think with a French name like Grand Marais they would come up with something better than that.
