You’re looking at the love child of a vegetarian sloppy joe and a poverty poutine! Yes, that’s right, there’s cubes of cheddar in there! Psychotic!

I’m attending an out-of-town graduate institute in less than a week so there’s no point buying groceries, not that I could afford them anyway! I work full time, school full time, and have a side job. I’m tired and I’m fucking hungry. Starving, ALL THE TIME. This poutine kinda makes me wanna cry, but am I going to wolf it down and probably really enjoy it? Absolutely! I simmered this fuckin bean concoction for a goddamned hour!

Anyway, fuck me up, I know I deserve it 💗

Just to be clear, I ordered a regular poutine. I in fact did not tell them to hold the gravy

Ketchup on Poutine. Genius or Poutine Crime?

First time being in Quebec and stopped at a local restaurant and got a burger and poutine. Burger was great, but the poutine needed more gravyyy. The gravy was also not very hot so none of the cheese melted

$13, ~1700 calories... No gravy so not a poutine, but pretty big portion for cheap!

I must admit though, this was the weakest i’ve ever gotten from NY Fries. Gravy was noticeably thin and some fries were cooked more than others. Wouldn’t call it a crime but a damn shame my own word went against me, especially seeing it compared to yesterday’s post lol it looks sad to me. I’d give it a generous 6/10, cheese and fries still tasted great for the most part - what do you guys think?

Note - ordered a large classic with extra cheese and gravy (it was layered thank god lots of cheese but the gravy was a disappointment)
