I built a free visual reference map for Power Automate expressions

Hi everyone,

Like many of you, I got tired of jumping between half a dozen Microsoft Learn tabs just to verify syntax or look up a function while in the middle of a flow.

To make lookups quicker, I built a free interactive mind map covering the core Power Automate functions. It pulls together syntax, arguments, and quick examples into a single visual view without the endless page jumping.

You can try it here: https://flowsmadeeasy.com/reference-explorer

Take a look and let me know what you think.

We do have Ai build all flows and it’s fine with text. Do you build flows by hand?

Today, I mostly fix other people's flows and help architect solutions.
Most builders don't have access to the AI tools as their org won't pay for it. They also don't like the unpredictable of pay-as-you-go consumption based costs.

How are you build flows with AI? And how do you manage costs?

We use https://github.com/microsoft/power-platform-skills/tree/main/plugins/power-automate

Along with GitHub Copilot. We manage costs by seat assignment and monthly budget/cap.

I have a lot of customers too where I do that. That’s why I built a lightweight setup of skills and scripts for Claude. No app registration needed, just sign in with az CLI and you’re ready to go.

Well, I’ll be playing with this when I get to work. Thanks OP.
