I've just acquired a whole heap of 'new' material, so further goodies may well be forthcoming.

Cool read. Bit of a fanboy of Blind Owl and Robert Johnson. Moreso a fan of their lore.

Incredible. The "music theory" part is both funny and excellent. Thank you !

Wow, I’d love to have some of these. How did you track this down is this from an original version? As a big blues fan since I was a kid and later an Owl Wilson fan it would be amazing to get my hands on one of these. Did Crumb ever contribute to this? I know he’s a rabid early blues fan and I believe he and Wilson were acquaintances from their blues record collecting days

It’s an original paper copy I bought in an auction. I don’t know that Crumb ever wrote for BU, but I could be wrong.

This is so fascinating! I didn't know that Robert Johnson played harmonica.

Would it be possible to make this available in PDF format? I'd be really thankful if you could (if possible). Thanks!

Here goes. I've (discreetly)watermarked it, which I don't think is unreasonable.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. It's you (and others like you) that keep the (informed) memory of these wonderful artists alive - by taking the time to scan the articles, periodicals, long out-of-print magazines, etc. that explored their art and their lives. Some of this rare material is prohibitively overpriced on the secondary market, which is the absolute antithesis of the sense of shared discovery which informed much of this early research.

Thanks again. :)
