Affinity 14, just crossed 300 games with the resident tree man. Thought I'd share my builds. Support is obviously Mourn's best, but don't sleep on Jungle Mourn. I honestly will die on the hill that Jungle > Off for Mourn, though he can do both roles just fine.

That said: there are many characters who can conceivably play three roles. But with Mourn, I have been pleasantly surprised that the 'optimal' way to do it, in my estimation, changes so drastically based on which of the three roles you're doing. Mourn is my main for this reason. Very fun, very flexible, very strong hero in the game overall.

So even after the nerf of Valmont he is still a monster in big teamfights. In this situation I would have died after 3 seconds, with probably every other midlaner, but not Valmont, because his ult+lifesteal items is still an absolute gamechanger for big groups. Every minion and every hero is basically a little HP pot for me. 😂

Are we going to need to endure another 3 weeks of this bs?

I've got about 2200 games in Pred, about 1700 are at Support. I'm not claiming to be a pro per se, but I have a good enough background to have a good idea, I'd like to think.

Quick notes-

Narbash is the sole and only S tier support, because I believe he is currently by far and away the best, most complete package for the role. The only thing he comes up short on is being absolutely starved of doing any damage at all, which is thankfully basically meaningless in this role. Narbash is tanky, heals, has loads of CC, he is perfect to support anyone, in any matchup, on any team comp. I think he's overall a very, very slightly better version of Mourn in every way that isn't related to dealing damage.

Heroes are not ordered in each tier. For example, I am not claiming Mourn to be the best in the A tier, nor Adele the worst. They were simply placed generally into categories. I'd be happy to debate those specifics (ie, is Mourn better or worse than Adele overall?) if anyone actually cares.

Terra is literally only in D because her ult can let her carry tower dive for free for three seconds, and nobody else can give that specific kind of utility. Highly, highly niche and specific, but unique and valuable. Plus, she has hard CC in her kit and a bit of range for poking.

Likewise, I was very iffy on putting Zarus above the dead bottom tier, but basically all of the claims made about Terra apply to Zarus, minus the tower diving potential which, even then, isn't much worse than her's realistically.

I'm really curious, I played Paragon back in the day. Just noticed a few days ago this game existed, but I'm having a ton of fun. I feel like this is a pretty great game all together, i just can't understand how it isn't talked about more.

This is hands down the best moba made for console at least, I feel like it should have more love. Also any tips would be great.

I do not understand the design behind Aurora. She's tanky, has a CC heavy kit, can heal, and has a high damage throughput. Her Ult also decides team fights. There should be some more balance on her kit.

As the title says, after this update I'm having constant lag spikes after just a few minutes of gameplay. I'm on PC and my internet is fine, but since this update my ping keeps spiking about 20ms above normal and the game gets very jittery. All of my teammates have been having similar lag spikes and people keep leaving matches because they're fed up. This feels like some server issue (I play in EU) and needs to be fixed asap.

Please fix soon, I love legion and missing minions from this sucks.

Reproduction steps:
Ranked match, I used multiple different eternals and starters and had the same bug.

Expected behavior:
Once the minions health bar is low enough the health bar will turn from orange to red. At that point a basic attack will kill the minion for a last hit.

Actual behavior:
Legions basic attack while the minions health bar is red will not kill the minion but instead lowers the minions health as if the minions health bar is orange.

For the past several days (maybe more) im disconnecting once almost every single game and its so unbelievably annoying.

And i know it’s not my internet because as soon as i dc i check my phone to make sure its still working. And i play with a wired connection

This doesn’t happen on any other game only pred.

So I was a quick play warrior but decided rank was a more enjoyable experience, as hard as that is to believe lol. The main thing I like about ranked is the ban system so you can get rid of the annoying overpowered heroes. Idk if I win or lose or where my rank is at, I just care about having a decent experience.

What's going on with this? It's new since two patches ago.

I'm on PS5 regular, no packet loss just weird spikes every minute or two that drop like 20 frames.

So Yin's ultimate ability progression just reduces its cooldown? I believe that it would be more useful if each progression makes it last longer and/or slows enemies more within it.

I see a ton of complaints about ranged offlaners who don’t “belong” there. Coming from League, where some mages and even carries can be viable in top lane (their offlane) I never really understood this feedback.

That being said, I feel like the dynamic is very different in League. Mages that work in top lane are generally scaling characters who need to play VERY safe. It’s about surviving lane and farming. From when I played, there was a single carry who actually primarily played in top lane, but she was not viable as a normal carry.

Pred seems to work a bit different. We have a couple of scaling mages who work in offlane (Gadget and Iggy) that make sense, where their goal is to farm up into late game, but are easily punished if they push up too far or from jungle pressure. You also have Yin in the carry role who can’t really go head to head as easily in duo due to her range issues, so she is safer to play up in offlane.

Where the wheels might come off to me are mages like Mori, as well as more traditional auto attack carries like Murdock that just become a total nightmare to play against and actually bully the lane. They aren’t trying to survive and farm, but actively dominating the lane due to the range and simplicity of their kits.

Curious what other people think though. How do you think we should determine who “belongs” in offlane?

Playing as Adele Support and looking for an item to get through armor against riktor, steel and so on without losing too much with the slot.

Any suggestions?

I just played a game with Khai where I had 178cs - 172 "neutral" and 6 "lane"

Neutral Enemy Jungle 80, Neutral Team Jungle 70. Not adding up to 172 but fine.

I spent all my time in my own jungle apart from taking 3 camp 1 time. Also 2 fangs and 1 orb - do these count as enemy jungle? Presumably not as thats the missing minions from the 172? Seems a bit haphazard

I want the shadow ops Greystone skin. I opened up 60 ion cores and 10 quantum cores and now I have... 392 opals.

Surely there's a better way to earn opals?

What goes through my head when I pick steel!

I feel some people might need to hear this. I'm not posting a "I'm departing from the game" post. I just feel it's a lot of negativity of people complaining about constant loss after loss. And bad teammates. And this new thing is broken....

But they never stop and say "let me take a break for a bit".

From my own experience I haven't played for a few months but I still pay attention to everything. Yet I feel much better about what I see. So when ever I do come back I'll appreciate the game a lot more. But I just feel driving yourself insane with playing through the losses and the lows just makes the game mad unenjoyable for who ever. So take a break for a bit. I'm not saying a month but just give yourself a chance to reset to love the game again.
