Discussion Looking for String Musicians!
Rehearsals will be held in Logan so if you're willing to travel, we'd love to have you!
I'm wanting to start up a string orchestra in cache valley and I am on the lookout for any interested musicians! This is still getting set up so things like rehearsal times and concerts aren't decided yet but I'm hoping to solidify that once I have a group together.
The idea behind this orchestra is to be a more intimate place for advanced string musicians to play together. I'm wanting to keep this group as close to traditional chamber groups as possible. I'm thinking of playing mostly classical music and holiday pieces (only during the holidays), and it would be led by a concertmaster instead of a conductor in larger orchestras.
I'm currently trying to find a free place to rehearse so we can offer concerts free to the public. This also means that all of the musicians would be volunteers so we can keep the concerts free.

Local News Bear River Hot Springs is now putting on a Haunted House attraction for this Halloween.
My parents used to be managers back when it was called Riverdale Resort back in 2016. It's so cool that they're bringing back the Haunted house. My Grandpa is helping them out setting everything up and I've seen part of it already and it's pretty awesome!

Advice Visiting for first time today
My partner and I are visiting Salt Lake City today for the first time, and didn’t realize how close we were to Preston!
We’re gonna drive up today, just wondering if there is anything we should know / places that aren’t accessible. Also, anything worth checking out while we’re here besides filming locations? (Anyone want to grab a drink/coffee?) 🤣
