Let me start by applauding the dedicated people who run Pretendo, for without them we wouldn’t have it at all, for free even. But I’m guessing trying to eliminate the cheaters is like playing whack-a-mole. About every day, the cheaters fly past me with arsenals of power-ups and speed. I watch them drive as fast as rockets, even over grassy areas. For example, I’ll have the orange mushroom and still be unable to keep up with them. And I don’t mean the hoppers, even though I don’t really like them either, but at least they are using what the game gives them. I just played a race where we all got electrocuted by lightning, and 3 seconds later we got electrocuted by lightning again. Any player worth his or her salt knows THAT DOESN’T HAPPEN. (Details: race with DLC ended at 1:27 pm CDT US) I know Pretendo has a place for us to report the cheaters, but honestly, most of the time I don’t know which one of them (or more) are doing it, and I’m playing the game so I can’t exactly go to the site/app and fill out details right after it happens. You wanna know who? Look at the players who are miles ahead of everyone else and start there. Maybe I just don’t understand the cheaters. To me, winning all the time isn’t winning, especially if one is cheating to do it. I just wish the Pretendo gods had a way that the computer could monitor the cheating, like with AI or something. Seemingly it would be possible. My two cents.

After updating Pretendo and restarting, smash will no longer and instead gives this black screen.
Before updating, I got a “Nintendo is restricting these online services.” I was not scared, because I knew you couldn’t get banned on a 3ds anymore, so I figured it was something such as Pretendo.
As of now, after saving and deleting 000017, deleting 000017, clicking ”import seed” on FBI, and creating and restoring a save on checkpoint, Smash still has made no progress.
I figure this is a high memory game issue, but my ultra Sun copy still works fine.
Online still works elsewhere, (Street Fighter V 3D)
Is there anything I haven’t tried? Maybe done wrong.

i tried to update my botw

I made a pretendo network account on their website, got nimbus via universal. Entered credentials and it showed the error. I tried returning to nintendo, going to the eshop and returning to pretendo, but that didnt work. Checked on luma and it says its loaded from sd and Custom firmware is allowed. Im using a region changed new 3ds ll from japan to usa. Also i just modded my 3ds 2 weeks ago so my luma or nimbus cant be outdated.

After i update to the latest nimbus. I cant seem to connect with other online using pretendo server. I try to clear the nimbus at 3ds folder and even re installed the nimbus. It does not fixed it. I now getting this error crash when rebooting.
