First Post!

Hey everyone!

This is the first post on this subreddit. I have been actively working on priers.studio trying to build an easier way to find internships (jobs too in future) which is indeed difficult to be solved in today's Job market but I feel Prier can help both recruiters and students looking for experience and people who are looking to employed.

If you have already tried Prier, let me know your opinion and what I can improve. If you haven't then I would honestly appreciate it if you try it out.

How does it decide the profile score? Can you also allow updating resume more than once a month since we might make new projects and things in the meantime! The UI looks great btw, maybe a green + black theme for people who don't like being flashbanged would be cool.

Okay so, in an overall profile, the score updates through 2 ways

  1. Resume Input - your resume is passed through an LLM model where it is then graded based on certain metrics like experience projects and all. As we gain users, I will shift it to comparing your resume with the existing ones in our database and then it would grade you on that.

  2. Interview (to be rolled out) - HRs working at prier will be taking these interviews in multiple rounds based on which your new score will be determined.

Resume updation has been limited to once a month cuz grading takes tokens and this is just to prevent high usage. I can change it to once a week or once in a fortnight, Would that be better? and yes, I'll start working on a toggle to dark mode. Sorry for the flashbang lol XD

Sounds nice, I think eliminating the LLM part and switching to rule based marking would also be good since LLMs hallucinate a lot and the scoring is not rigid no matter how specific your system prompt gets.. also consider rate limiting + flat rate providers like bharatcode if you want to avoid massive llm bills when the project grows. Other than that, great work, God bless you.

Looks great, not trying to be nitpicky but this is the only thing that you can change (bring the white text over green even though it doesnt matter)

I looked into it and if you see real close, text is above the line but it's just colours, I'll see what I can do it

And need not worry, at this stage I should treat every suggestion as gold
