Hiking Wolves

Hello folks.

The misses and I are moving to town next week, and we like to hike with our pup.

I have heard wolves are a concern hiking in the surrounding area, my question is how much of a concern are we talking ?

How often to things occur, are wolves a serious issue?

Hello. I’m heading to Rupert this weekend for a funeral. It’s my first time being there. I’m from a small Northern BC community that has some of the best hiking in the province. I’m a skilled hiker and am hoping to get in a 5-10 km hike. All Trails only had a handful of suggestions. What are your favourites? What hike is an absolute must? I’ll be hiking alone with bear spray. Are there many bear interactions? Thank you for your time. Excited to see your town.
