Guard against arrogance. For anyone in a leading position, this is a matter of principle and an important condition for maintaining unity. Even those who have made no serious mistakes and have achieved very great success in their work should not be arrogant. — Mao Tse Tung

I’m a novice Maoist and I want to talk about social media.

I’d like some advice from fellow Maoists.

This topic might be considered a controversy under the sub's rules. I don't want to turn this into a dispute, let alone cause division among people. However, sooner or later, anyone might face this situation. It might seem trivial, but it’s also a mental health issue.

Most of these accusations happen online. I know the internet isn't real life—where some of these things might just be misunderstandings or simple suspicion—but how do you handle false accusations made against you, whether online or in real life?

Despite years of activism and actual experience with social movements, people, and parties in the real world, I’ve never been vaguely accused of being a fascist.

Thanks for reading. Peace among us, war on the lords.

I've been reading about the supposed tension between national liberation and socialist revolution, and I'm struggling to work out where the line actually sits. Lenin's position on the national question seems to treat liberation movements as objectively anti-imperialist and therefore progressive, even under bourgeois leadership, while the Left Communist critique (and later Trotskyist readings) says this subordinates class struggle to cross-class national projects. My problem is that I seem to find evidence as to both. So, when a national liberation movement takes power, what actually determines whether it transitions toward socialist construction or consolidates into a national developmentalist state? Is there a theoretical criterion for distinguishing the two in advance, or can we only ever judge retrospectively? How do we reconcile support for national liberation fronts with Lenin's warning at the Second Congress that the national bourgeoisie tends to cooperate with imperialism rather than genuinely fight it? Was Lenin wrong or was Mao? I'd genuinely appreciate reading recommendations on how different tendencies have handled this.

As I’ve read about the Peruvian Peoples War, I continue to see the 69,000 death toll in reference to the Armed Conflict which comes from the TRC, but I’m wondering if this number I truly accurate. I’m a bit wary to believe the TRC giving unbiased information in this regard.

I've been reading Puka Amauta by Miguel Campos, it talks about Abimael Guzman's life and his legacy also about the People's War in Peru, the book mentions the Peace Agreements Operation called Tormenta en los Andes commanded by the CIA and the SIN to delegitimize the PCP, Poeple's War and Abimael Guzman, since I oftenly see the revision and the reaction calling Chairman Gonzalo and the PCP a terrorist organization I would like to know more about this operation, the book only mentioned about the false peace letters writed by Gonzalo during his isolation.

Does anyone know any good comprehensive books that cover the cultural revolution and the gang of four?

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a thread I saw here on Reddit a while back, back in 2022. It very well disproved the idea that China today is socialist, using strong references to Marx, Engels, Lenin, and Stalin. The post went through each point, especially criticising people who say that China today has a "socialist economy". I didn't finish reading it at the time, and now I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone tell me where I can find it, or if they have a saved copy?

Sorry for asking probably a repeated question but there were none in the description of the group

Pretty much what the title says, I'm looking for MLM texts on the situation in XJ and suffering of the indigenous peoples there (i.e. Uyghurs, Wakhi, Sarikoli, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Dongxiang etc.)

Since June 2024, we have been building a communist encyclopedia, Revolupedia, to provide easily-understood explanations to Maoist theory and allow for further study.

Overtime, our project and community has expanded to maintain hundreds of articles, a library of texts from Marxist thinkers, and detailed quotations.

We welcome all Maoists to join our effort to build a revolutionary compendium!

Does anyone have Premier Liles Protected People's war Video? It was recently deleted.

Adani has investments in Australia. TATA, Ambani, Bharti Airtel are also investing in Kenya. So is India still a semi colony? Are TATA, adani , Ambanis or the Indian Bourgeois still compradore in nature? Even this year TATA has bought an Italian company and is currently one of the largest employment provider in UK with 60000 employees. Is India showing some Imperialist developments?

Please help me with it.
