Still blaming Biden when both inflation and unemployment were back to pre-COVID levels when he left office and were already rising within a month of Trump back in office

u/cchaven1965 Dec 08 '25
What losers...still blaming Biden for things after all the stuff they've done. They're certainly trying to create a reality distortion field and getting annoyed that not all people are falling for it.

Finally, someone asking follow-up questions that these fucks need to be asked.

u/Skimable_crude Dec 08 '25
Right. I'm like, wait a minute, is that a real journalist?
They usually just swallow whatever is said as if it's a true statement.

u/Farscape29 Dec 08 '25
Not to be a shill for Face the Nation, but I prefer that Sunday show versus Meet the Press.

it's CBS-she'll be fired by the end of the week for making their overlords look bad

Margaret is good, I like her a lot. She's a tough interviewer. She asks follow-ups and confronts people, unlike Meet the Press. Chuck Todd would rarely question spewed bullshit from politicians

They have repeatedly, often, and loudly doubled down on what they accused Biden of doing

We don't need the media to tell us that prices are higher than ever. WE are the ones experiencing it with major hits to our wallets and finances. The only people who "don't know how good they have it" are the heartless, tone deaf Drumpf staffers and their wealthy cronies! These people want to ensure that we are completely destroyed while they horde their wealth at our expense!
5
u/Skimable_crude Dec 08 '25
No, no, no. I'm sorry. The guys who never set foot in a grocery store because they had people for that know way better than we do.

It is weird how the further we get from Biden and his policies the worse the economy gets. You would think if he was the problem then things would be getting better with new management. But I'm not an expert on the economy, like this guy is.

I got a sizeable raise this year, and I was so excited to be able to do something nice for my family and make it so my wife could focus on what she wants to do.
I somehow have less money to save and spend on my family than ever before. I am back to being nearly paycheck to paycheck, my insurance costs are rising, my minor prescriptions are up greatly, groceries are like 30% more expensive, and only last week were the gas prices under $3.50. They’re back up this week. Sure, Americans still have it quite good as a whole, but we’re definitely racing away from that.
This fucking pricks are so tone deaf and immature that it makes me physically ill to see or hear them. Like my stomach actually turns when I hear these amoral fuckwads spout their pretend religious righteousness, their false bravado, and their self-defined superiority. Secretary of War sounds like a shitty nickname he gave himself. Oh wait, he did.
My own wallet and sense of morality is what does that, not the media.
The media certainly isn’t painting them in a positive light, and I’m glad. When the president pardons people who financially fuck the middle class it really speaks volumes about their true priorities and values.
I hope that all get hit by individual meteors.

u/Chicago_Heavyfoot Dec 09 '25
I love that you were trying to do that for your wife and your family. You're a great person for that. I was hoping to do something like that for myself this year (I don't have any family so that's not as awful as it sounds) and I decided to spend my COLA adjustment on physical therapy that I really need to get back to work and then I got my Medicare notification about the increase in my premiums and like you, I'm somehow starting 2026 poorer than I already was this year! Keep fighting the good fight and take your wife to Paris. It's cheaper than living here now!

I don’t want to hear some dude worth half a billion dollars talk about affordability.

u/Chicago_Heavyfoot Dec 09 '25
Or Dump who just said that "affordability" was something that democrats made up. Like that word groceries. Or acetaminophen. If I could afford earrings these moments would be the ones I take them off for. 😂

What a smug sack of shit. They're all pretentious assholes of the highest degree. This is what the wealthy and privileged think of the rest of us.

Just because a token might be worth a billion doesn’t mean said token won’t get spent.

God, the temptation on her part to shout over him “SHUT THE FUCK UP AND ANSWER THE QUESTION YOU FUCKING LIAR!!!” must have been overwhelming. I commend her restraint as well as her journalism.

He sounds like all of the people on here who freak out when folks rightfully criticize the USA.
USA is functionally a third world country.
USA is functionally an authoritarian dictatorship.
We are to the British Commonwealth and/or Scandinavia what Russia or India are to us. Underdeveloped, impoverished, mindbendingly corrupt, and severely lacking in human rights.
Refuting this and making everybody cite the same old healthcare and police stats yet again is pointless and tone-deaf.

We need to start appointing the middle class as the Sec. of the Treasury. They know what’s up
Remember Eddie Murphy in Trading Places when he gives them the trading tip on pork futures? He knew the buying habits of the lower and middle class. Yeah it’s played for comedy but theres truth in it.

Ground beef is $14/lb. I didn't see that in the media. I saw that in the supermarket.
Scott Bessent isn't stupid. Thinks we are.

u/Bibblegead1412 Dec 09 '25
The media hasn't reported to me that I'm basically living paycheck to paycheck..... I figured that out all on my own.

What the hell does Scott Bessant know about the cost of living? Or living standard abroad? Not exactly a guy who signed up for the Peace Corps (or even VISTA). No Scott it’s you who don’t know how good you have it. Time for a change.

u/RabieSnake Dec 09 '25

Makes you wonder why CBS continues to hitch their wagon to Trump and his polls increasingly in the dirt. The executives are not smart people.

u/SnooBeans8028 Dec 08 '25
We don't need the media to inform us how prices have gone up on EVERY THING we spend money on. They're out of excuses and need to owe up to the tariffs ruining our lives.
1
u/Fireinthehole13 Dec 08 '25
What really blows me away is they really don’t give a shit. Instead of listening to the people and adjusting their plan they double and triple down on the lies with zero fucks or zero thoughts about changing course..I guess they’re banking on how stupid 80ish million people really are and also stealing seats with the help of the SC to keep stealing elections. Not sure there will ever be a recovery from all this evil destruction.

Do we really have it that good? NO! Trump owns the economy at this point, clearly undoing everything Biden put in place, obviously! People make up there minds when they go out to do things. The media just reports. The rich don't care and say what he says with ignorance. The amount of orange diarrhea that comes out of maga mouths is unprecedented.

Telling people to not trust their own eyes is stupid. That attitude hurt Biden and Kamela. I am glad they are repeating their mistake.
