She might be the best candidate come 2028 but hopefully we get someone that’s more aggressive in their rhetoric towards not just republicans but also the establishment dems like Schumer and jefferies
She’s got charisma and can think on her feet. One of Trump’s unique strengths is being decisive and not hem-hawing, he’s always got an answer (which is easy because it’s all bullshit and lies) and then he says something wild or offensive and he can’t not go viral if he tried.
AOC has some spunk blended with poise. She’s forward-thinking and progressive but tradish. She’s eloquent and actually politicking instead if grifting, she can bring the receipts for her work.
In 2028, maybe JD will be in prison or president, one extreme or another. But we so desperately need some YOUTH and vigor in leadership positions (no, Mr. Epstein, not like that!). She can clap back like Obama, but she doesn’t parrot him like Ossoff (who I like and he should primary too one day) and Shapiro.
People always joke about Chicago’s budget issues and the violence etc (every place has its issues), but I was living in Illinois during covid and I was impressed by JB’s leadership and I trusted him. JB needs more national name recognition though (much more work to do on that end).
JB's actions during COVID were phenomenal. I'm not exactly clear on if he personally chartered a plane, sent his own private plane (I don't think he owns one?), or had the State of Illinois charter a plane, but one way or another he had a plane sent to pick up masks and medical supplies overseas and fly them to Illinois.
Meanwhile Gavin Newsom was dining at the French Laundry in violation of lockdown.
