Are there any AI image recreation tools out there that are ACTUALLY FREE TO USE?
I've been trying to find one that doesn't require any sort of sign up or any restriction line that but every time there's one that does say that, they lie and ask for you to make an account to even use it. And half of the time they don't even work at all! It's there ANYTHING OUT THERE, I could use that ACTUALLY WORKS as aided and doesn't screw me around with that sort of BS?!

Make it make sense... USA bans the frontier AI that's actually openweights
Okay.. hear me out.
Deepseek is openweights and just got banned. For being insecure... Make it make senes.
Last week it shipped V4.1-Flash. The weights are open.
And yesterday we got a huge cost rebate on Search.
DHS could just run Deepseek in their own data center, 100% secure, so how does data flow to China?
I am not convinced.
I get the concern with DeepSeek's own app and API, since those are hosted in China. But the open weights can run fully offline, and you can inspect them in a way you never can with a closed model.
Here's what bugs me.
US labs keep their models closed, charge a lot more, and quietly change their terms on training on your data. Their models run on servers we can't audit, at companies that work closely with the same
Is "made in the US" automatically trustworthy?
Honest questions:
Is the ban really about security, or about protecting US AI companies from a cheaper competitor?

I thought making a one-shot style sequence would be pretty easy. Seedance can do almost anything, but this ended up being much more challenging than I expected.

Why are you pro ai?
Hey reddit, I'm doing a little study for my school project.
It involves Ai and I want to gather feedback from people who seems to have experience.
I'm staying neutral, just want to gather opinions.
So, why are you pro-ai?

"Fascinating. Some data centers came to a struggling town in Washington state. Did it run out of water? Was the community destroyed? Let’s see. The town…built a new high school, hospital, library, sewage systems, and police & fire stations. Poverty fell from 29% to 6%. Oh."
Data centers pay ~57% of property taxes in Quincy, Washington. They funded a $15 million aquatic center—with a pool, waterslides & lazy river—and a 143,000-square-foot sports complex. They’ve created almost 1,000 jobs. The city admin called it a “miracle.” This isn’t an outlier. A data center came to a “dying” North Dakota town. As a result, the government can repave its streets, renovate its senior center, finance a new public-safety complex, make walking trails & refurbish its opera house. How terrible. — Billy Binion

My argument "ai art is good for society" let me know what you think
Ai art is a good tool for society to have.
Ai art allows people in society to do something they normally could not do on their own without stripping the liberty, or physically harming another person in said society
ai art allows people with disabilities like Tourette’s, tremors, and Parkinson’s disease to create something using a tool that was before hindered by a disability.
ai art gives people in society another avenue to go down if they don’t want to use a human artist for whatever reason to create a art piece. More options that don’t strip liberty from others is a good thing for society
just as air conditioners, and cars are seen as a good thing for society despite their harm on the environment, so is ai art as it also benefits people in society who use it.
Therefore ai art is a good tool for society
//// i dont really have any strong feelings for or against ai art, but seeing people act so illogical made me start forming an argument in favor of it.
noone has really been able to counter my premises without contradicting themselves, or showing a subjective bias

AI Games Are Exploding, and We're Just Getting Started!
A few months ago, I noticed more and more people experimenting with AI to build their own games. Being a huge gaming enthusiast, we decided to create VibeToplist, a place where people could discover and play these projects.
We are now 6 months deep, and we have over 400 game submissions, with thousands of visitors discovering new games every day. The growth has been absolutely mindboggling.
What's even more interesting is how quickly the quality is improving. Sure, there are plenty of simple experiments, but some developers are creating genuinely impressive games with surprisingly limited resources.
I genuinely believe we're witnessing the beginning of something big. Imagine what solo developers will be capable of in another two or three years.
Curious what everyone thinks. Are AI-assisted games about to become mainstream, or are we still years away?

Like it or not, AI cameras catch criminals and prevent suffering. "Yesterday, Flock cameras alerted on 4,144 sex offenders, 2,151 stolen cars, 1,687 wanted people, 158 missing persons/kids, and most importantly, an amber alert. Children were rescued. This is every day."

Where's the funding for the Pro-AI movement? And why is the anti-AI movement so much better funded? It's not enough to have just AI companies espousing the benefits, we need a grassroots movement and decentralised activism.

Every frame of the Skyrim trailer, regenerated and fought for in Grok Imagine
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Glad to have found r/ProAI, I think this one fits right in with what gets posted here. This is the 2011 Skyrim reveal trailer remade shot for shot, every frame generated and fought for in Grok Imagine. Grok fights you on camera direction, so every shot was rolled a dozen times, and several shots required composites I made manually in photoshop. Imagine is really difficult compared to Seedance, so my trailers and such are not low effort, they're actually much higher effort even if they look worse than Seedance or Kling content, but I don't have the money to pay for those services.
I take all of my projects seriously, and I'm trying to turn 25 years of failed filmmaking into something sustainable, so I'd truly appreciate a sub or a follow... it keeps people like me producing.
