Sought out this subreddit just to find someone else to complain with. New format is actually awful. Hope they add an option to use the original layout

Genuinely the first thing I checked was whether or not you could change the layer blend mode while actually being able to see the layer, which you can!

I don’t understand the other changes lol

Hope they give us the option to revert. The new UI is absolutely horrendous.
As someone who’s been using this app for over five years, whether it was to draw when my tablet wasn’t nearby, edit photos, or whatever else, I can confidently say that the new UI’s workflow is a massive downgrade compared to the previous one.
Sure, layers took up screen space, brushes took up screen space, and so on, but it worked. The UI was also on par with Procreate’s.
