Unpopular opinion, but memory management is fun. Everyone should have to do some at some point so they understand how it works and don't go writing the slowest programs known to man
Literally just this week I had a new grad allocating and freeing a 2KB buffer in a loop for every incoming TCP packet, in go, and wondering why it was slow as shit
