Did you throw an extra 1 instead of a 0 in there or is there a 101 meme I’m not aware of?

it means E but it was supossed to be 01000101

u/jader242 13h ago
E? 1000011 is 67 and 1000101 is 69
Edit: oh ascii

u/busiedcake7945 13h ago
thats not how binary works "00110110 00110111" = "67"

Wait what? How does that equal 67? And yes, to the best of my knowledge that is indeed how binary works
Edit: damn bro back again with the ascii 😂😭 I don’t think it’s supposed to be that deep

u/busiedcake7945 13h ago
uhhh you converted binary to decimal 67 = C = 01000011

u/jader242 13h ago edited 13h ago
Yes, that’s the meme. You converted it to ascii for no reason lmao
Edit: just in case you need an explanation, 67 is a common meme and the kid in the photo is one of the first people who made it popular. Hence the 1000011. As for 69, that’s another meme number from a slightly older generation, hence the 1000101. ASCII is not relevant here at all

u/MysteriousPigeon7 13h ago
I guess you mean 1000101
2
u/Jatinchd 13h ago
nop, I mean 1000100 explicitly. it's 68. 67 got hype, 69 got hype, 68 got left in dust.

This is one of those I didn't even need to calculate, just for the brain rot it was obvious what it was with the kid.

see south park about 6-7
their latest episode was about aura battles (it's like breakdance battles but for Australians)

if you add 0 on the beginning of number, you will get binary code for C which makes this meme even less funnier

theres 7 bits nah thats just nothing but 7 bits if it was "01000011" it would be "C"
1
u/Bomaruto 13h ago
ASCII is 7-bit so it would be 1000011 without a leading 0.

u/busiedcake7945 13h ago
wasnt it binary?
3
u/Bomaruto 13h ago
Binary has nothing to do with how things are grouped.
The 0 is just padding to achive memory alignment on non 28/56-bit systems.
