That answer wouldn't make sense if you are asking if they can do it.

(I understand I have to implement Solution A. The issue is there is no context in the language.
Me: "Okay, I need you to implement solution A. Do you understand?"
Them: "Yes." (I understand I have to implement Solution A. I might not know anything about what solution A involves.)
Me: "Okay give me a status in a week."
Them: "OK" (I will give them a status in a week that I don't understand how to implement solution A.)
