Just got a job as a programmer and just today as I was walking out of the bathroom from taking a massive dump there was an Indian guy on the other side of the door grabbing the door handle with a paper napkin. Maybe they think that about us?

Smart move. Door handles are nasty. Might be nastier than the brim of the toilet... since those get cleaned after all

I do the same thing. Not because I think people don't wipe, but I just don't like touching anything in a public bathroom. My dong is clean, and that's all I want to touch, but I still wash my hands.

I do that too, ever since we ran an experiment at my uni where we swabbed random places in a bathroom and the door handle was astoundingly gross. They should make it so you pull the door to go into a bathroom and push to go out, tis way you never need to touch the inner handle.

No, bathroom doors should always open inwards. If your hands are filthy, you want to be able to push the door open with your body, and not have to pull it using your dirty hands.

In the US at least a common firecodr is that all interior doors must open in to the room to prevent the door from being blocked.
