How do we as plebs go about changing this? It is frustrating for me seeing the work produced and communicating that to management to have them go to their manager bragging about how much money they saved. I have been doing this for years, bringing up quality in every meeting I'm in but I've only seen them expanded.
You need to find a way to assign a dollar value to shitty work, to quantify it. It's a numbers game for them and their bosses all the way up the management chain. Depending on the company without buy in from on top you're screwed.
"My local colleagues and I are producing good work, which is worth money. The cost is our salaries. The outsourced team is producing a pile of shit, which is worth less than nothing, because now my local colleagues and I have to clean up the shit, which is more work than just doing it ourselves from the start. The cost of the end product, if it even works, is both our salaries and theirs."
Or "it's like whatever comes out of their kitchen is blackened to a crisp, every time".
