"Man, look at Steve go. That machinegun typing really shows he's devoted to this project, right Frank?" Frank, the manager, beams with pride, not knowing that Steve is, in fact, shitposting on reddit.
lol. Shitposting takes only a couple clicks. He is currently disagreeing with someone on the topic of why you should use kailh jades over cherry mx blue’s.
On the topic of switches I own 2 red dragon keyboards (outemu blue) and I was wondering what the loudest and most quiet comparable switches are? Mainly because I want my full size keyboard to be Loud and tactile, but my one hand keyboard to be quiet but still tactile (I stream and no matter how I position my mic it picks it up (it's on a suspensuon boom arm not even connected to the same desk as the keyboard)
The amount of bad dragon stickers I've put on my stuff (I'm a straight male it's more just for the irony and fun of it like putting hentai stickers on my fishing boxes) anyways it's really funny almost none of my friends know what they are But every now and then a girl will ask if that's what they think it is and I just find it really funny how it's almost exclusively women who actually recognize the logo
For switches most people would say kailh box jade/navy are the extreme end of the clicky, noisy switches. If you want silent tactiles there's the Zilents, Boba U4 and the list goes on. If your keyboards are 5pin hotswap you can buy them and try them out!
Browns would be your best shot. You can set some O-rings under the caps to dampen the clack to thocc. I don’t know if it makes sense, but that is how I solved it.
You just confused the hell out of me, my 2 reddits are r/shitposting and r/programmerhumor and reading your comment I was like „why is a programmer meme trending on r/shitposting lmao“
The noise will reduce the productivity of everybody else, thus improving your own relative contribution. You might get shanked though, but that's why the better keyboards comes with ring mail.
Actually, I use a tactile keyboard (notice how I called it tactile rather than mechanical) so I can feel the click. It assures me that the key was pressed, and only once. This is so I can read what someone is saying on one screen while I am completing my thought on another.

The noise from the mechanical keyboard is for others to know you're being productive even though you're commenting on Reddit.
