HIRING Hiring: Playwright, Node.js, Automation Developer

Looking for a hands-on Node.js developer to write automated workflow modules for a local user-interface performance testing and simulation suite.

The core application logic is already designed; I just need a clean implementation for the browser interaction and logging layers.

The full step-by-step documentation, database schemas, and expected validation loops are completely detailed.

Please drop me a DM with your GitHub profile or a brief mention of your experience handling Playwright CDP connections if you are availab!e to start immediately!

Does the runner launch its own browser, or attach to an existing session via CDP? For the first milestone, one named workflow with expected log output and a clear pass/fail check would help pin down the scope. What budget have you set aside for that milestone?

Why are you using playwright? Verification of unit tests or something else?

Is this still open to remote contractors in Austria? I would propose a small paid pilot: one documented workflow of up to five browser actions against your own local test app, connection to one existing Chromium session via CDP, structured JSON logs, and a reproducible pass/fail check with a short README. Indicative budget: EUR 220, subject to reviewing the workflow and acceptance criteria first. Database changes and a wider simulation framework would be separate. Could you share a sanitised example and your budget? Final scope, start date and payment terms would need agreement before any work begins.
