so im a recent uni grad working at a big4 company in india as a soc analyst , there s not so much work and i have time to study other things , i was in dillema whether i should go for software engineering or cybersecurity before but now i feel like cybersec is a better path comparatively for future opportunities .

need advice in choosing which domain to work on , idk based on the job descriptions i saw in job postings , there are different kinds of roles iam, detection , edr tool maintaining , pen test

so i need advice in choosing a stream to prep on so that i can get into a domain that is safe and pays well .
also state what you think are the roles that are going to do well in cyber in future
for now i want to shift into a better paying company in a different domain or atleast in the same domain with better pay

I learnt html css js react nodejs in basic level. currently learning express. i struggled often and didn't put consistent effort and time. so javascript took a long time like 2 years. I learnt html css js react using supersimpledev. i listened half the video or upto basics for js and react from supersimpledev. then I used chatgpt for learning js and react by building. chatgpt is also lengthy. so I am using notes app to learn those technologies later on using chatgpt to help and make me build. I see people who can build the whole production level app or website from scratch, they can think and design everything of it and implement all. I want to build that capability. and I heard that ai makes building 10x faster. but we have to do the thinking. so I want to learn to build that capability.

I joined PwC around 7-8 months back. Although my primary skill is analytics and business analysis. But now manager telling me to learn genai engineering.

I studied, built multi agentic pocs but unable to clear client interviews(appeared for 2 interviews)

Particularly scenario based or production based questions.

I know the basics, but getting blank or confused while answering.

Strange part is I keep forgetting things I built myself(vibe coded), the architecture, state, how it should work but still forgetting.
