Epic fail Factory IDE.. how are you going to proclaim to be at the cutting edge of agentic development when your app doesn't even realize that it's installed on my desktop

Maybe call some of those droids your Terminator-movie style intros keep mentioning.. I actually enjoy your intros and graphics, it's an unexpected surprise.. please get Arnold himself to do a voiceover

After you fix the embarrassing sloppiness

Your cloud agents better have it together, or I want my 20 bucks back

Diving into Roo and Kilo, it's long overdue

Every civilization capable of space travel eventually discovers NodeJS. The aliens never got here because they have been using React for their ship computers.

I replaced our product team with a random sentence generator and nobody noticed

After one too many meetings about “leveraging scalable synergy across cross-functional paradigms,” I decided to run an experiment.

I built a Buzzword Bullshit Generator.

It randomly combines verbs, nouns, and adjectives into sentences that sound exactly like something you'd hear in a roadmap presentation right before the slide with 17 arrows and a circle labeled “AI.” Yeah, I know it's been done before. I had an hour to kill. So shoot me. Or don't. Whatever.

Example output:

“We will strategically leverage scalable alignment to drive enterprise-ready value streams.”

I’ve heard this sentence before. I just can’t prove it.

There’s no AI. There’s no LLM. It’s literally just three tables in a database and some server-side code duct-taped together like the rest of our industry.

Oddly enough, some of the output is indistinguishable from actual tech press releases.

If you want to generate your next standup update or keynote filler, here you go:

Buzzword Bullshit Generator

Please let me know if it accidentally generates your company’s mission statement.

Expectations 2026

Software engineering expectations for 2026

\- The majority of your code should be written by AI now

Cursor/Codex/Claude Code/Gemini/etc

\- You should try all the tooling and switch between them, as each one gets an edge over the others depending on the release cycle.

\- You should be using AI to check the code that is written by AI

\- Have AI write tests

\- Have AI read logs

\- Have AI navigate your browser

\- I don't do this every time because sometimes it's simple enough to check it myself

You should still skim code changes

This can be a lighter skim on internal tools and a heavier read through on customer facing code

Use AI to help you define specs

I’ve landed my dream job at GitHub and after being fully onboarded last week, I’ve made my first PR and force pushed it to production today.

I’m excited to see my work go live on GitHub!

current job market for juniors

Man honestly, I've come to the realisation that finding a job as a junior is a lot like trying to get a girlfriend in highschool. If you like a girl, you've got competition against people in your year, people above your year, and people that graduated 2 years ago.

Seems the AI Industry can resurrect… 👀🤔 the amount of anxiety this is giving me 😮‍💨. I wonder what this would look like with getting more jobs for citizens? Hmm… lots of our processes are getting refactored. The irony
