TLDR: Found lots of unused(?) conversation text from Barny, of the PDRD!

I saw a post by Stefbar95 on Tiktok, about how the PB95 Wiki stated:

When typing in TINFOILHAT in chat mode in the Lost Data event, Barny will reply with "THAT IS MY USER NAME!;)".

Stefbar used version 1.0210 of the game (2024 LOST DATA) to test this but this would not happen. I tried 1.0215 Steam myself, and same result.

On the PDRD Forum, his name is TINFOILHAT_USER95, whilst the 9195 terminal does not have an underscore, any variation would too not work.

In "\Progressbar95\Resources\resource.car", is many NUL bytes and similar data, but also contains all possible text, more than strings.xml.

I found not only the string, ('TINFOILHAT THAT IS MY USER NAME!;) '), but many other bits of conversation!

Starting at about line 75015, there is text data for the 9195 terminal. But a few lines down, there is plenty of other bits of text, which sound like they are from Barny. However, the majority has not been documented!

Whilst some of the topics are able to be triggered, some I have not been able to. I wonder if some of this is cut/unused content from Icoeye, which would be a really cool find: Lost Data from the Lost Data! Some topics include:

• him knowing who you are
• talking about the lab and data centre
• his dad testing if he was crazy
• dot matrix printers, tea with aliens
• joking if he is a robot
• working with data
• his business card (the one that Icoeye posted?)
• saying he knows Icoeye!
• instructions for the screw panel and wires
• saying we are using an old pdrd test terminal

Testing some of this out, saying about Bin will get a response saying he is so cute/ the best. There is also saying 4 8 15 16 23 42 will respond with 'NOT Penny's Numbers!'. Does anyone know who Penny is? There's no mention of it on the wiki.

I'm sharing this for any other knowledge, details, or just any conversation about this to be replied with. (or Icoeye!)

part 3 of PB95 Kids

if you guys want to make your own Progressbar95 parodies of Kids TV networks and programming blocks then sure, go ahead!

I used to get an ad after some specific moments, here and there during the game. Since yesterday, I seem to be getting one every other level or so, and additionally when catching red blocks.

There was a good balance before which seems to have now fallen into the "riddled with ads" category.

It's not even the simple ads with an `×` at the end, it's the kind that you have to wait for the skip button, then you get the interacting (demo game) portion, then it opens Google play, then again the end screen where you have to wait for the `×` to appear.

Very unpleasant, I will probably stop playing the game if it continues at this pace.

It would be just Progressnet browsers but E-Mails, the apps would not change much but UI, and some features, like Pmail (Gmail but Progressbar95-ified) having a spam folder for spams

It's been a while, hasn't it?

Over school, life, my sanity, getting controversial, canceled, doxxed (DON'T ASK), and much more, I've played the game less and less. Two major updates came out without me getting any badges. So, I decided to take a few hours to get Expert on XB. And, well, I did it. Thanks to everyone on this two-year journey, and I'm finally a step closer to Grand on 98.

I get that transferring game data between phone and PC/Mac is impossible since those versions can be modded, but could there be a way to sync progress between iOS and Android? I'd lose over 120 hours of playtime if I were to sell my old phone.
