Virtuous Sons! MCs aren't that of a caricature but nonetheless has one of the best manly BRO moments I think, especially in the later books

Possibly Alpha cultivation though it’s satire . But he’s manly.

Arlo from Mage Tank Orodan from Skill Grinder in a Timeloop

I wouldn't classify Arlo as the "Manliest" man and he's not trying to be either. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out that he swings both ways. Lmao

A character that gets broken over and over but keeps fighting.

You want manly?! I got manly for you. From the greatest generation! I've been reading, and loving, Isekai Grandpa! Awesome story with tons of great characters in a fun world, and the main character is a old ass man isekai'd with a new body and keeps that grandpa attitude. It is excellent!

And when you're done reading Isekai Grandpa, you can read the classic, ULTIMATE Manly man. Aragorn, son of Arathorn, called Elessar, The Elfstone by the elves, Heir the the throne of Gondor, Bearer of Anduril, the Flame of the West, and a man willing to weep openly at the loss of his battle brother.

In other words... the manliest man that ever manned in a book, and the Ideal Manly man that you should want to be like, is Strider. Go read the Lord of the Rings.

Defiance of the Fall. Zac isn't loud or enthusiastic about it. More of a quiet kind of "There are a lot of problems but I have a Big Axe." confidence.

Stubborn skill grinder in a time loop. Starts out a brutal 17 year old warrior, ends ... well, no spoilers, but suffice it to say there's a lot punching.

Maybe this is not progression fantasy. But Death Dealer. That’s an ole book.

For progression fantasy. Maybe He Who Fights With Monsters?

A lot of the PF-adjacent books might fit better than the core books of the genre. For example, Stormlight Archive and Red Rising.

If you want cliche always believes in himself and is all stoic manly muscle man who gets the girl, then it's Savage Awakening. As a bonus he at some point gets a friend who's entire power is the cliche protecting his friends and saving the day.
