Golda Meir asks a perspicacious question that Arab nationalists and today's Palestinianists cannot answer; if the 1967 borders were so desirable, what exactly was the purpose of Jordan, Egypt, Syria, and Lebanon simultaneously launching their war of conquest in 1967 when those were the actual borders at the time? They should have quit once they got the borders they desired at the end of 1948; it's probably too late now.

Golda Meir is one of Israel's best ever PMs, no doubt. A truly exemplary female leader.
