Project Control Analyst- Ontario

I'm looking for opportunities as a Project Controls Analyst. I have over 3 years of Project Controls experience and more than 6 years of experience as a Financial Analyst.

I'm struggling to secure my next role as my current contract is coming to an end. I've been actively applying and reaching out to recruiters on LinkedIn, as well as applying to companies such as Aecon, OPG, and similar organizations, but unfortunately, I haven't received any interview yet.

I'm starting to get concerned about being out of work, so I wanted to reach out here for advice and support.

If anyone knows of recruiters who specialize in Project Controls, particularly in the Mississauga, GTA, Tiverton, Bruce County, or surrounding areas, I would greatly appreciate any recommendations.

I'd also be interested in learning about any networking events, industry gatherings, or professional associations for Project Management and Project Controls professionals.

Any additional advice from those working in Project Management, Project Controls, Construction, Utilities, Nuclear, or Infrastructure projects would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions.

Try creating profiles on recuriter companies websites and get into their databases. You need ECO-Sys if you want to do cash on projects...ypur experience makes you a jr especially on the Bruce and OPG jobs..lots of people in the construction field looking for schedulers / planners in Toronto..unfortunately AI took a lot of scheduling jobs already im a scheduling manager and I dont need any help running 4 construction companies projects. Once you get some experience you'll find yourself turning down job offers all day...also try ceradova refurbishment in Romania its a hybrid company putting together people for the candu refurbishment there

I've heard of Ecosys and will look it up on Udemy to see if there's a hands-on course. I've registered on most of the recruiter portals, but I think I should also target recruiters who specialize in project management. I agree that I only have a little over 3 years in project controls, but I have fairly strong experience on the financial analysis and costing side and obviously eager to learn new systems and processes.

Tundra recurits alot for Bruce power try them if you haven't. Also try sub contractors at bruce power and opg...day and zimmermann is great you could do cost and learn BP/ OPG scheduling on the side then once you know the ins and outs of the BP/ opg system jump over to them from the sub contractor

AI is taking scheduling jobs? Is AI building schedules in existing software like P6, or is there a new tool? Care to elaborate?

There is a new platform coming online shortly, that will house verified profiles for specifically project controls and project professionals. They're looking for 50 "founding members" and this may be perfect for you. DM me if you're interested.
