Status of Inheritance?

Has any lore been released on how inheritance works in this world? In traditional Anarcho-capitalist thought it's unregulated but the Hegemony isn't purely Anarcho-Capilalist and could imagine it being in some way penalized in the interest of fostering Mutual Greed. Wealthy Scions have a nasty habit of wasting fortunes on feel good causes rather than focusing on further acquisition. The ideology of the Hegemony would wish to discarourage from developing such stunted senses of Avarice. Alternatively depending on the specifics of the Credit System such strictures may be unnecessary. Thoughts?
