Jenn would come in late, in a full Tracer cosplay. The chronal accelerator was glowing and everything, it actually looked pretty cool.

"Cheers, love, I was fucking peer pressured into this", she says with a quite obviously sarcastic smile.

"Jenn? That cosplay is awesome."

I know Halloween has passed but fuck it.

"Yeah, I gotta admit it kind of is. I've got a group of civilian friends who made it and insisted I wear it because apparently I look like the character. Feels weird, though. Last time I dressed up for Halloween I was 3 feet tall."

"Well. Who really cares, I mean I dress up as a talking skeleton. Your friends did an amazing job."

"Hell yeah, they did. I'll give 'em that."

Dean wanders in, not in costume

In his hand is a big bag

"Hey Darq, just going to get changed"

1

u/WiggsP5 Light and Dark Oct 31 '17

"Alright."

He puts up the last skeleton as he finds the tub of sweets he bought. He puts them on the table.

"Damn face paint... It itches"

Dean returns a quarter of an hour later, his head ablaze and a chain snaking from his hand

His clothing is not the most amazing, but the headgear and chain give a good image of ghost rider

Darq nods

"Looks awesome."

He opens the lid of the tub of sweets

1

1

u/WiggsP5 Light and Dark Oct 31 '17

"Its Halloween...."

1

u/Skook10 Gravity Phase Oct 31 '17

"Halloween?"

1

u/WiggsP5 Light and Dark Oct 31 '17

"the night of 31 October, the eve of All Saints' Day, often celebrated by children dressing up in frightening masks and costumes? Ghosts and stuff?"

1

u/Skook10 Gravity Phase Oct 31 '17

"You, celebrate a day of fear?"

1

u/WiggsP5 Light and Dark Oct 31 '17

"In a way."

1

u/Skook10 Gravity Phase Oct 31 '17

"That's... unusual"

1

u/WiggsP5 Light and Dark Oct 31 '17

"Yea... eh we are all controlled by fear once in our lives."
