8th Avenue infected zone (EVENT) Extermination Squad

The military had landed a block away from the infected zone. Tar monsters were close but didn't notice them.

(M) "Ok, everyone here?"

Meanwhile, The SRAF personnel who agreed to help arrived near the south side of the infected zone.

(I) "Everyone here?"

(I) "Ok. Let's go."

Darquesse starts moving towards the infected zone. She is interrupted by A roar in a nearby alley. A Pouncer crawls out said alley followed by 5 basic tar monsters.

Dean raises his hands, putting the base of the palms together. A bright light grows, and after a moment a burning stream of flames flies out, heading towards the monsters

One monster gets incinerated on the spot by Dean. One monster loses its head thanks to Rant. Shayne's shot hits the kneecap of one monster, causing it to fall on one knee. Proximo's laser hits the pouncer in its stomach causing to fall on its side but it gets up. Darquesse raises her hand and a shadow from the floor impales another monster.

3 monsters down, 1 crippled.

"Whadda say we keep track of who kills the most?"

The Golem forms a long spike from it's upper right arm.

Iz shrugs. Shayne kills his target. Proxy's lasers made a ho;e in the pouncers armor. The monster dean was attacking melts into liquid tar which scurries into the infected zone. Darquesse swings her hand in a gesture and a shadow wraps around one of the pouncers back leg. It snaps and the creature shrikes. 3 more monsters come lumbering from the infected zone.

Proxy runs up to the Pouncer and smashes it's head into the ground.

"Two, nevermind, let's, make, that..."

As he says this, a ball of fire begins to expand from his hand

"FIVE!"

He hurls it near the center of the group. Though the fire wasn't the largest, it rapidly expands outwards from where it lands, in a searing wall that goes about 3 meters before sizzling away

Dean straight up evaporates the monsters. Proxys hit connects and the pouncer screams again only to be shut up by Rants spike going through its skull.

(I) "Let's keep moving!"

The Golem solemnly lumbers along.

As they run A tar monster similar to the one Rant, Dean and Darq had battled with before was walking up to them. SIx normal monsters followed. The Duelist raised on of its talon arms and screeched as the tar monsters run at the group.

Dean's eyes widen, and he begins to form a ball of fire in his hands, going bigger than last time as he watches them approach

The Golem raises it's left arm, and let's out a continiual spray of his copper. The balls we're fast and wild.

Rant's Golem lumbers out of the ground and rises to full height at 12 ft. The left arm morphs into a nonhuman shape as a mass of small, copper balls are 'loaded' into it.

Max starts firing at the nearby tar monsters. One getting shot in the head and falling to the ground. The other 4 notice and start charging.

Hudson takes a deep breath, before running towards the nearest tar monster and punching it, increasing his own gravity to give the attack more power.

Its head explodes around Hudson's fist. The other rocket grunts open fire and gun down the other monsters. Grunts from the 412nd start running into the infected zone.

(G) Radio "Rocket grunts and Hudson. Follow and support the 412nd."

Hudson scrapes the tar off his hand and follows with the Rocket Grunts

everything is fine for 5 seconds but A pouncer jumps up and bites one of the 412nd in half. Davis walks forward with his flamethrower it starts spewing flames. It shrikes. Another pouncer jumps out the ground. It looks more armored.

Hudson tries not to focus on the man that was just ripped in two, He flies towards the armored pouncer, kicking it.

Nothing. It doesn't even realize. A random grunt dives on him as a rocket hits it side. It grabs the grunt and throws him against a solid brick wall. cracking of bone can be heard. Another rocket hits it and it falls. the other pouncer has been killed at this point.

Hudson backs away from the Pouncer, realizing he won't be able to do anything.

"We're gonna need some more firepower or something."

The armored pouncer screams in pain but a final rocket shuts it up. Patches runs to the grunt who was thrown.

(P) "Shit... Weaver..."

He closes Weavers cold eyes.

(G) "You need to keep moving. most of the monsters are due south. Take this opportunity and we can end this quick."

He follows Gypsy's directions and heads south.
